Using Hydromorphone 2 Mg. What should I look for and how to prevent terrible constipation with this medication. Thank you for your time. ## Hydromorphone is a narcotic, so along with the constipation, it may also cause dizziness, dry mouth and nausea. It really isn't good to mix other medications with it, without checking with your doctor. When I was on narcotic pain management, what I found that worked best to prevent the constipation and is completely natural were fiber supplements. Most people don't get enough in their diet, anyway and fiber is not known to cause reactions with many other medications. Are there any other questions? ## Take magnesium suppliments, when i broke my arm they gave my hydromorphone and i took magnesium to build bone density and stop constipation. ##...

i got what was supposed to be an 8 mg. Dilaudid. It's about 3/8 inch diameter, white pill, no markings on one side, a large 8 on the other. That's it. ## What shape is the pill? Circular from the sounds of it but just making sure. ## @peteaudud, If you run a search on google images for "Hydromorphone M 8", you'll see one of the closest matches out there for the pill you're describing. Perhaps the letter "M" could've gotten smudged off? In either case, the imprint "M 8" on a white three-sided pill is identified as Hydromorphone hydrochloride (8 mg); a generic for Dilaudid. Manufacturer: Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 00406-3249 Would you say this is a viable match? ## I haven't found any Dilaudid/Hydromorphone tablet...

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT 8 KMGS OF DILAUDID LOOKS LIKE ## Dilaudid is a narcotic pain reliever that contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone. There are two others, that are also considered name brands, but they are manufactured by subsidiary companies, the pills are both white and shaped the same as the one I described above, however one has the marking PP (one p is upside down) on the scored side, with an 8 on the other and the other tablet has aa on the scored side and an 8 on the other. If none of these match that tablet in question, please post bac...

I got a triangular white pill with 3 and 8 on both sided with a buble in them. What are these? Please help. ## I located a "possible" match to your pill, based on your description. This pill is white, triangle-shaped, with "M" on one side and "8" on the other. The "M" looks like a "3" if held sideways, so I thought there was a chance that the marking could've been misread on your pill. If you run a search for "m 8 white triangle pill" on google images, you'll see the pill I'm referring to. It is Hydromorphone hydrochloride (8 mg). Please post back if you have any other comments or information to add about this being your pill.
