They usually aren't very small, because they contain both Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can you check to see what the rest of the writing is and post back? Thanks!

There was only DICODID made by knoll in Germany but it was withdrawn last year. Only Hydrocodone now available is ZOHYDRO SR in the USA. It is also made in combination with high amounts of acetaminophen, usually 325, 500 or 650mg, one goes as high as 750mg! But there is legislation coming into force limiting any dosage unit of acetaminophen (paracetamol) in the USA (where 100% of the entire world's Hydrocodone is now used since the deletion of DICODID) to 300mg. Abbott have already issued their new 10/300mg pill. But I am afraid that Hydrocodone as a single drug now is only available as an SR med under that ZOHYDRO brand. If required then would have to be crushed finely to defeat the ridiculous slow release mechanism which means you can no longer get the benefit of the drug to the e...

One is white oval tablet with 105 on it other is circular tablet with .DAN on one side and 5658 ## Hello, Deb! How is your dad? The tablet with the 105 marking is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The tablet with the DAN 5658 on it is now manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Cyclobenzaprine. The FDA classifies this medication as a muscle re...

The drug in question is Lorcet 10/650 ## Looking for information concerning hydrocodone and what the answer to the title of page is? ## My husband bought a detox kit. But along with the detox he purchased a test for opiates (in hydrocodone) as well as a test for amphetamine.... he says that hydrocodone also has amphetamine in it and will show positive. I know hydrocodone has acetaminophen in it...But not amphetamine ? Just need to know if it will show as amphetamine or maybe he has taken something other than just hydrocodone? ## @Curious cat - Hydrocodone does NOT contain Acetaminophen. Does Lortab make a 10/325? My Doc changed my lortab 10/500 to norco10/325. Norco is a different medicine, making me really tired. everyone keeps saying its the same as Lortab. I STRONGLY disagree. help ## Hi, I'm on pain management & have taken Lortab then Norco for years. Norco is the same as Lortab with 325 mg of acetaminophen instead of 500 mg. My doctor changed mine as well due to the affects on the liver. I understand the hesitation. When he changed mine I wasn't thrilled either, but I'm a creature of habit & dislike change in routines. I'm uncomfortable when my generics are from another company & look different than I normally take. I promise, it's the same 10 mg of hydrocodone. Both Lortab & Norco contain the same active ingredients: acetaminop...

Hi, can you help me please? These particular tablets are white with dots that appear light pink, where is this color derived from - what elements/source/dyes? ## What are the markings on them? That is what would enable me to look up these specific tablets for you to see what's used in them. The actual ones manufactured by Watson do not have the specks in them, but they have purchased a few other generic manufacturers recently. Thus, I need the markings in order to find these exact tablets. Thanks! ## Hi, thanks for your reply. They are tablets oval in shape with light pink specks throughout. I THINK I'M HAVING A REACTION TO THESE DARN THING'S. I KEEP ITCHING, IS THIS NORMAL? ## Hello, Truckergirl! How are you doing? Very sorry about the problem that you're having. Do you also have a rash/hives, or are you just itchy? If you have a rash and/or hives, it would most likely be due to an allergic reaction. However, if your skin looks fine and you're just itchy, then it's most likely just a side effect of the medication. Narcotics can cause that in some people and it might just not the right analgesic for you to take.

I had a total shoulder replacement and my doctor gave me Percocet to go home with. They immediately took the pain away for about 4-5 hours. I am just trying to find out how much ten of these tablets will cost me to get filled but no one will post the price they post everything but freakin pain pills! ## Hi, they will cost less than a dollar each. Go to walmart the prices are better, more like .50 each. ## Sorry you had such a frustrating experience. The reason most places don't list prices for any controlled substance is due to the risk of theft, they don't actually want to put it out there and have people know whether or not they carry them. However, from what I'm finding, the current price for the 5/325 tablets runs about 60cents each on average, of course that will vary from area to area, but you should be looking for a pretty cheap price if you're just getting 10 of them. My husband got his finger cut off yesterday and the doctor gave him 7.5 hydrocoden. And its been hour and half and he is in pain. I was wondering if advil woukd be ok to give him to help him out. I ran 1 1/2 day short on my oxy IR and have left over hydro from dental surgery. No more 4000mgs of Tylenol in 24 hrs. ## @Dalejrfan, Although only a doctor can legally advise you on what/how much of something you should take, the general adult dosing guidelines for Norco usually recommend 1 tablet every 4-6 hours as needed for pain. I found this pill in my 18 year old nieces pocket when i went to wash clothes and i've tried looking it up and cant find it anywhere. Please help. ## This tablet was manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as having contained 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The reason you couldn't find it listed anywhere is due to the fact that is has been discontinued due to the amount of Acetaminophen that was in it. The FDA no longer allows combination prescription medications to contain more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose, so this hasn't been manufactured for several years, now. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation....

I have a white oblong pill with no score, and has an L434 imprint on one side and nothing on the other side. Could this be a Lortab? ## Based on the pill description, I've located an "oblong" (capsule-shaped) white tablet marked L484, as well as a "round" white pill marked L434. Unfortunately, neither one of these are Lortab (Hydrocodone Bitartrate + Acetaminophen). The L484 tablet contains Acetaminophen 500 mg without any Hydrocodone (NDC 30142-0484). Acetaminophen is a mild pain reliever and fever reducer. While the L434 pill contains Pseudoephedrine (60 mg) + Triprolidine (2.5 mg); which is used to help relieve a common cold, hay fever, and allergies. (NDC 00113-0434). Has lp on top 145 below it.told it was vicodin???the other side smoth.the pill is white n round. ## Hi tru, Most Vicodin/Norco pills I've come across are usually white oblong tablets, but this white round pill marked with IP 145 reportedly contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone bitartrate + 200mgs of Ibuprofen. It's NOT Vicodin/Norco, however I think the Ibuprofen may make for a good alternative for those who can't tolerate Acetaminophen, due to potential liver problems. The manufacturer is listed as Amneal Pharma. I hope this helps!
