I found this pill in my kids room...just wondering do people abuse this drug? Please let me know ## I heard that some people have used it recreationally ... just wondering..I'm worried and am hoping my kid is not hooked on them.. ## Naproxen will not get someone high, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. It is commonly sold over the counter in a lower dosage as Aleve or generic or store brands. This is, however, a prescription strength tablet, so your child should not have it. It is illegal to have this without a valid prescription. The other operative question you may want to look into is what your child thinks it is, do they think it is something they can get high off of, like a narcotic? Have they been taking other medications that they shouldn't be?

Hey guys, the IP 109 / 500 is naproxen. But if you have an oblong pill with IP 109 and a line on the back I think it's Vicodin 5mg. Personally I think they look way too much alike. Always check. ## Hello, Kristin! How are you? Thank you for your helpful post! I'd just like to add some clarification to avoid confusion that may be caused by the typo… The 500mg Naproxen tablet has the marking IP 190 on one side and 500 on the other. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. The generic for Vicodin has the IP 109 on one side. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and...

L368 Blue Oblong pill small no code or marking other than that. What is this? Please HElP identify!! ## This is a generic or store brand Aleve, Naproxen Sodium 200mgs. ## Then why do some of the pills out of the Naproxen Sodium 220 mg say G17 and some say L368? Looking at the pills before taking them, one said G17 while another said L368. What is the purpose of this? To confuse those who are already confused or just to make people feel stupid?? ## No, the reason for this is because there are many companies that make a generic medication and they each will have a different logo/marking according to the company that makes it. Over the counter drugs are not as regulated as prescription drugs, but if you read the regulations, you will find that even for prescription meds, the FDA requires t...

white,oblong,one side says 537 and the other says 93 ## Sounds quite a bit like the generic brand Vicodin I was prescribed for dental work. ## Nope, this is NOT a narcotic of any kind. Pill Image Click Here This is nothing more than the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory Naproxen Sodium, 550mgs, so a prescription strength of it, but it is the same active med that you get in a lower dose in Aleve over the counter. There aren't any proprietary guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry regarding the shape, color, size, or etc. of pills. How they look, how they are shaped, their size and etc. are entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. The only way to tell for sure what something is, would be to look up the imprint code, all prescription drugs sold legally in the US are requir...

I have a pill that is supposed to be 5 milligram Percocet.... So this pill is oval and on one side it has "500" and on the other side it says "6 slash 32" ## A tablet with G 32 on one side and 500 on the other side contains 500mgs of Naproxen, is manufactured by Glenmark Generics. NDC code: 68462-190 The color is very pale, so it does look white to many people. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation, increased risk of bleeding, and headache. So no, it is not Percocet, or any type of narcotic. Inactive ingredients may include: microcrystalline cellulose croscarmellose sodium povidone magnesium stearate Though they can vary, depending on the manufacturing facility. I am in Houston, TX. Where can I buy Flanax for my mother who has arthritis? ## Please note that Flanax isn't available at local US-based pharmacies. However, it is readily available OTC on Amazon who does ship products all across America, so I would encourage you to check there first. The active ingredient in Flanax is Naproxen, so alternatively you could also look for another product that contains that as the active ingredient, such as Aleve, or the equivalent store brands and generics. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? {affiliate link added}
