i got what was supposed to be an 8 mg. Dilaudid. It's about 3/8 inch diameter, white pill, no markings on one side, a large 8 on the other. That's it. ## What shape is the pill? Circular from the sounds of it but just making sure. ## @peteaudud, If you run a search on google images for "Hydromorphone M 8", you'll see one of the closest matches out there for the pill you're describing. Perhaps the letter "M" could've gotten smudged off? In either case, the imprint "M 8" on a white three-sided pill is identified as Hydromorphone hydrochloride (8 mg); a generic for Dilaudid. Manufacturer: Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 00406-3249 Would you say this is a viable match? ## I haven't found any Dilaudid/Hydromorphone tablet... ...

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT 8 KMGS OF DILAUDID LOOKS LIKE ## Dilaudid is a narcotic pain reliever that contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone. The name brand 8mg Dilaudid tablet is white, it is shaped like a triangle, with rounded corners, it has a number 8 on on side and on the opposite side it has a logo of two triangles, with rounded corners that are separated by a score line. There are two others, that are also considered name brands, but they are manufactured by subsidiary companies, the pills are both white and shaped the same as the one I described above, however one has the marking PP (one p is upside down) on the scored side, with an 8 on the other and the other tablet has aa on the scored side and an 8 on the other. If none of these match that tablet in question, please post bac... ...

Finding these types of controlled medication online can also be difficult. Have you tried calling around to see if anyone in your area has it? oxycodone and dilaudid corrections on mg

The pharmaceutical decomposition of dilaudid versus oxycodone is 4 milligrams of dilaudid = 10.67mg of oxycodone. When reading through these post its important to understand the differnt levels of metabolism of each of these opiates along with different foods and different medications also interfering with the absorption of both. You can also use a SSRI like cymbalta to increase the absorption of all these opiates. I am a pain management physicians assistant. If or opiates do not work for pain you should be looking into nerve blocks and epidurals as part of your ongoing treatment with opiates. ## Do not, under any circumstance, get on Cymbalta while taking pain medications. It will not make passing medications work faster, in fact, after a DNA prescription analysis on me, it was found t... ...

New med to repalace my Dilaudid Rx- Nucynta ER
1 Reply RSS
I was having issue finding my Dilaudid Rx. I ran out and the pain was unbearable. (I used my Rx for Tramadol 50mg x 4-6 daily to alleviate any withdrawals. It doesn't do much for the pain.) My doc switched me to a new time released med Nucynta ER or Tapentadol. It works great. It comes in 50mg - 250mg. Equivalent for my Dilaudid 4mg x 4 was Nucynta ER 150 mg, 1 q 12 hr. but we had to work up to that dosage through titration. It says not to cut the pill and I have not tried. If you have true pain and a legal doc, try this. It is readily available at CVS, usually the 24 hour stores. I don't wake up in knots and crying in pain. I am very relieved not to have to drive to 15 different drug stores and be looked upon as a junkie/criminal to get my meds. This works for now and I'm n... ...
