the pill is round and thick, baby blue like the sky. NO IMPRINT at all . ## Hello, Onelove! How are you? Since there is no imprint, we can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription tablet. Law requires that they all have imprints to enable their identification. That means that it's most likely an over the counter product. Where did you find it? Some OTC products are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? I'll keep searching and post back, when I have information for you. ## My prescription pills for Finasteride (BPH med) look exactly like this: smallll, round, medium thickness, mild/baby blue, and absolutely *no* markings. It appears that they came in a sealed bottle from the mfgr & were re-sold as a presc...

Is it like water or thicker ## From what little information I was able to find, it is noted to be made from a syrup base by many manufacturers; meaning that it would be a thicker consistency than water. A liquid formulation ingredient list may look like this: Methadone Hydrochloride (HCL) BP 1mg/1mL Glucose syrup Green S (E142) Tartrazine (E102) Sunset Yellow (E110) Parabens (preservative) Ethanol Trace chloroform water. There are other mixtures as well that use different syrup bases like Sorbitol syrup or Unpreserved syrup. Additional information that I gathered states that "different liquid formulations only alter the medium in which the methadone is dissolved and will therefore have the same effect on the client." I hope this information helps! ## It's more like water bas...

Hi , my father is having bp problem and doctor suggested to take tazloc 40 in morning and prolomet xl 25 in evening ... just want to know is it ok to control bp ..my father age is 60 also let me know medicine effect duration .. means if he will take medicine in evening then its sufficient till morning ? ## How well it works and how long it works can vary from person to person, so there is no definitive time frame I can quote for you. His doctor should check on him again, after a few weeks to see how he is doing and how well these medications are working for him. The NIH lists the typical side effects of these medications as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. How is he doing on them?

Anti hypertensive and lowers blood pressure. ## I've been taking vascoride for 6 months now. My BP went down from 160/100 to 120/80. 5 years ago my father had a double bypass and was prescribed Felodipine, Atenolol, and Clopidogrel. He is still taking them and now has signs of low blood pressure and orthostatic hypotension. He has confusion, dizzy spells, shakes, and has fallen several times now. is the 3 prescribed medications a common combination and/or can it be the cause of his recent episodes? ## Yes, prescribing several to get better control of blood pressure and to stabilize cardiac conditions is completely normal. However, our bodies do change with time, so what worked well for years may suddenly start causing problems. The Clopidogrel is used to prevent clotting, not to control blood pressure. Learn more Clopidogrel details here. So that means that if his BP is going too low, the likely cuplrits would be the...

In december I developed bad tooth pain and a sore on the gum in a left molar. I have a heart murmer and my blood press.rose to a high level but was erratic and other times a normal rate. I called a dentist and he said to go to the ER. I did and they prescribed amoxicillin at 500mgs every 8 hrs. The last dose was on Jan 3, 2013 and by then the tooth problem was gone. I went to a dentist and he found no infections but said a molar on the opposite side which had lost some filling should be repaired soon. I made an appt. with him, but in the meantime it developed a blister near the root and soreness at the gumline. Also I started having erratic BP swings again sometimes 160/105 and resting pulse to 88. When I called he said to cancel his appt and go to the ER again, he didn't think the ...

I have been taking medicines for BP. The medicines is changed from one to another like Ramipril 5mg, Losarton Sodium 50mg, Telmisartan 40 mg, etc. I want to know is there any problem in changing the medicines or one should I stick with only one medicines. Please advise. ## Yes, you should find one that works for you, without causing a lot of side effects that make you miserable and stick with it. When you keep switching, your body doesn't have a chance to get used to any medication and for it to reach its full level of effectiveness. Additionally, stopping one abruptly to switch to another may cause a rebound effect, which means your blood pressure and heart rate can bounce back up, so you kind of negate any effect the medication may have had. What medication has your doctor recomme...

It is normal for them to slow down or stop functioning at your age, it means your most likely in perimenopause. And they can be used by all women, whether or not you are married doesn't matter. But if a woman is married and actively engaging in intercourse, they can prevent pregnancy. But they can cause elevated blood pressure in some women that take them, so you should monitor your blood pressure regularly. If it starts to el...

I took bystolic 10 hours ago, but am having chest discomfort and my blood pressure numbers are going up. Can I take a chlorthalidone now? ## Which one has your doctor prescribed for you? The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. What type of discomfort are you feeling? And what BP numbers are you experiencing? What time of day are you checking? There are many factors that can affect that, but it may not necessarily mean you in any danger. Have you consulted your doctor?

what is used pb forte tablet ? ## Hello, I haven't found any products or medications listed under "pb" forte. Is it possible that you may have meant to say B.P. Forte? From what I could gather, B.P. Forte is a B-complex vitamin and mineral supplement containing: vitamins B3, B6, B9, B12, iron and zinc. These types of supplements are generally used for treating deficiencies in one or more of those vital nutrients. I hope this helps answer your question!

Hi. I'm on 1.25mg per day of Bisoprolol Fumarate. My resting heart rate goes down to about 45 BPM at times. Should I be concerned? ## Hi Paul, Some safety guidelines for this medication state that your blood pressure should be checked regularly to determine your response to bisoprolol. Your doctor may ask you to check your pulse (heart rate) and if your pulse is faster or slower than it should be, it recommends that you call your doctor. I do agree that 45 bpm is pretty low and could possibly mean that you should adjust your dosage a bit if at all possible. 1.25mg appears to be a pretty low dose of the medication, but I'd ask your doctor about cutting it in half if need be. I hope this helps! ## Thanks for this excellent, detailed response, David. Great advice!
