I'm a quad and take oxy 5mg and aspirin. For years I was on percodan and they stopped making it, so now I take generic. Now I hear they are going to stop making oxy + aspirin together. Can you find out if there is any truth to that n do they still not make name brand percodan? I would appreciate you looking into this and letting me know what you could find out. Thank you so much. Means a lot. I have enough built up for a little while. ## Hello, Tom! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having. Yes, it is true that the name brand in this dosage has been discontinued. I don't know anything about them discontinuing the generics, as well. However, if it's what works best for you and your doctor approves, you could always take a 5mg Oxycodone tablet with r...

Ok, here's the deal - In the past I've taken Excedrin Migraine, which proved to be very effective at killing a bad headache. It combines Acetaminophen, Aspirin, and Caffeine in decent doses. Now I basically have a sensitivity to caffeine, and the med makes me feel pretty weird when I take it. So I'm just thinking of taking the Acetaminophen and Aspirin ingredients separately so that I can have the same kind of med without the caffeine. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any products in the stores which just have those two ingredients without caffeine being added in there. Thoughts anyone? Is there an OTC med out there that I missed which contains the ingredients I'm looking for? If not, could it be considered pretty safe to take the medications separately but ...

ive got 2 different steriods one is pinkish thick round with a line across it plus small thickiish ones witk lk on it could u tell me what they are if u can thanks ## No, I'm sorry, but I can't tell you anything from those descriptions. If there are no markings, it is difficult to determine what a tablet contains, it could even be an over the counter Aspirin. Where were they found/obtained?

I found a large aspirin size green pill with large S on one side & nothing on the other. What is this? ## Hello, Susan! I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to find an identification for this in any of the databases that I've checked. That leads me to suspect that it's most likely an over the counter product. Where was it found? Some OTC products can be regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet?

Dear Sir, Can Aspirin Tablet 80mg (2 tablet a day) be taken together with Metformin HC1 Tablet 500mg (0.5 tablet X 3 times per day)? My Mom has taken Aspirin for a few years but Metformin for half month only. I learnt that Metformin cannot be taken together with blood thinner medicine. Is it true? My Mom felt very uncomfortable and suffered some kinds of side effect. How can she fix her sufferings? I look forward to your valuable feedback. Thanks and regards ## Information I was able to find (regarding taking Aspirin with Metformin) notes that you should tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking or have taken Aspirin and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) while taking Metformin. Other guidelines note that there are no interactions found between "Low Strength...

I had found a pill on the ground and I was wondering what it is. It is white with a arrow on one side and nothing else on the other It may have an arrow on both sides actually but I am not sure. Can you tell me what this is. ## Hmmm this is a tough one - So there are no other markings or letters / numbers on it? Any chance of taking a picture of the pill and emailing it to the ? That way it could be posted on this site for identification. ## It is most likely anacin, a 400 mg aspirin, check this site out and see if this is what it looks like....

what are the differences of taking coumadin or aspirin to prevent blood clots ## Coumadin is a much stronger and more reliably tested prescription medication. You should follow your doctor's advice on which one is best for you. ## Verwon, thank you for your reply. My sister is the one that has the problem and she had asked me to look this question up on my computer for her. She is following her doctor's orders, but she still has questions as she doesn't like how she feels taking the coumadin. ## There are many people who don't like Coumadin, there are other options she could speak to her doctor about, Aspirin and Plavix are two of them.

Just wondering if this is an RX or an OTC pill. The pill is not coated but doesn't seem to feel powder like either. Please advise... Thx! ## Hello, LK! How are you? I can't be completely certain from your description, but it sounds like you may have found an over the counter Aspirin tablet that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. ASPIRIN is on the top, with 325 below it. The numbers 57344 are on the top on the other side. I am assuming it is just aspirin, but I wanted to make sure. It is white, round, and not completely flat. It looks a tad bit coated... like, not as crumbly as some aspirins I have seen. It's relatively smooth. Any ideas?? ## This company tends to use the 57344 on all of their over the counter products, then something else, in this case the Aspirin 325 to denote what it contains, so you are correct, they are a regular dose Aspirin tablet. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation. Learn more: Are there any other comments or questions?
