On my sleeping pills it says "Apo-Zopiclone"... Then in brackets on the prescription label it says GLA. My question is, what does APO mean...and what does GLA mean? Thank you. ## What's APO 37.5/25 on my sleep medications stand for ## In Canada, and some other countries, medications are often listed according to manufacturer, and name of the actual chemical, so in this case, the APO stands for the manufacturer Apotex. The GLA stands for the distributor, since Apotex licenses their products to several companies for dissemination across the country. The 37.5/25 is the designated dosage of the substances in the relevant medication. Zopiclone may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, sleep actions, and next day hangover-like effects. Is there anything else I can help wi...

100 mg pill markings of Trazadone, please show image. ## Since Trazodone is a generic for the antidepressant Desyrel, there are many on the market and each tablet made by a different company will have different markings. Some imprints include: SL 434 Barr 555 490 93 638 5599 DAN DAN APO T100 441 R MP 114 MX 72 And this is by no means a comprehensive list of all of them. If the pill you have is not on this list, please post back with the imprint and I can look it up for you! Do any of these match yours? ## I received a new Rx of Trazodone from a 'by mail' pharmacy that looks like this: white, round, 100mg tablet with a stylized V and the number 19 on each half of the scored tablet. if tablet turned upside down, the numbers are 61 rather than 19. Thanks for your time and trouble. ...

My daughter is 47 and 3 years ago she had 2 strokes from complications after a major vascular surgery. The MRI done at the time also revealed she had already had 2 strokes before surgery. Her personality has changed so much from the strokes. She is very ill tempered, mean and hateful. It's affecting her entire family. She is aware of the change and will apologize, but very seldom. A clinical psychologist suggested the drug Respitrol. Maybe I got the spelling wrong, but from what I read, this is mainly for asthma. Should she see a neurologist or a mental health doctor? Thank you. Lou ## Hello, Lou! How are you? Is it possible that the doctor meant Risperdal? It is an antipsychotic that is used to treat various mental health issues. white oval with apo on one side and 01 then a slash through the middle and the other side of slash is 40. My child came home with this and I would like to know what it is if possible. ## Apotex Corp lists this tablet as containing 40mgs of Citalopram, which is an antidepressant, thus rather than 01, that is meant to be CL. NDC code: 60505-2520 The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, weight changes, and mood changes. While they can vary depending on production facility, inactive ingredients may include: croscarmellose sodium lactose monohydrate magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose hydroxyethyl cellulose (140 cps at 5%) polyethylene glycol 8000 Is there anything else I can help with?

Ranitidine 150 mg tablet. I have always received a peach colored tablet w/imprint PAR 544. Concerned about white tablet is for Zantac? I take this w/Metoprolol. ## my husband gets white ones and sometimes peach ones ## Just to confirm, yes, the APO pill is also Ranitidine 150mgs, a generic for Zantac. Tiffanie, I appreciate your response, but if you are going to post to help people on a drug forum, then you need to know that the colors of the tablets really don't mean anything at all, you have to go by the imprint in order to be certain of what something is.

My prescription is dated january 2016 is it still good? ## Can i take naproxen dated 2016 is it still good to use for pain ## Hello Gigi, The short answer is no. The long answer is that the expiration date could mean multiple things ranging from the expectancy of the medication to maintain it's maximum level of potency. In some cases the medication would still be good but just not as effective as it was prior to the expiration date. On the other hand, some medication contains active ingredients and inactive ingredients that may deteriorate and make the medication react differently with you. Regardless of the safety of the medication, it will not be able to perform it's intended function at a desirable level and should be disposed of at your local drug drop off. If you feel like ...

I got the prescription in Jul 2009. There is no expiry date on the bottle. Is it still safe to take it after 4 years? ## Hi, Milica! Once the factory seal on a bottle of tablets has been broken, the expiration date is one year from the date you received it from your pharmacy. Naproxen doesn't get dangerous after it has expired, but it will start to lose potency, which means that after 4 years, they are virtually worthless and should just be disposed of properly. Little white pill with 632 on top and e- mo5 on bottom. I found it in my house please let me know what it is ## Hello, Shy! How are you? I apologize, but I thin your post had me slightly confused. Are the other markings on the pill actually e-mo5 or was that a typo? So far, I've not found anything that matches this description. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! In the meantime, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet?

round white pill 20 mg- what should teh imprint code look like? ## Well, since this is a generic for the antidepressant Paxil, there are many companies that make it and all of their imprint codes will be different. This means there is no possible way that I could post all of them. Some are: PAXIL 20, this would be the name brand. 93 7115 ZC 16 N2 M APO 083 par877 P2 G C 56 422 POT 20 And this, of course, is not a comprehensive list. Do any of these match your tablets? If not, please post the imprint and I will gladly look it up for you. ## Thank you! The imprint is CZ16. I was just a little paranoid because the shape of the pill was different this time and when it arrived by mail the tablets had fallen out of the container and were loose in the packaging. Anyway, now I can rest easy. Th...

what miligram is this small round peach generic xanax? ## The small round peach pill is 0.5mg of Alprazolam (The generic for Xanax) ## It isn't the color that tells anything about a tablet, it would actually be the marking on the tablet that would identify the ingredient and dosage. So, while this may be a 0.5mg tablet, as Hayley says, there is no way to be absolutely certain, without knowing what the imprint on it is. The color doesn't actually mean anything. Some of the round, peach/orange tablet markings are: MYLAN A3 (0.5mg) 029 R (0.5mg) 604 (0.5mg) ALP 0.5 APO (0.5mg) M A22 (1mg) V 2092 (1mg) R 87 (2mg) b492 1 (1mg) So, as you can see, the color does not indicate what the dosage is. Do any of these markings match the tablet you are asking about?

Hello, I been taking Ketorolac for about 1-1/2 days and I've be over salivating a lot. And I mean a lot. Every few minutes or so, and I'll have a mouthful. I can't sleep because of it. Is this a side effect? ## Based on my research, there aren't any listed side effects pertaining to an increased secretion through the salivary glands. The only two remotely similar side effect listed for this drug are "sores in the mouth" and "sweating". However I wouldn't doubt it if Ketorolac has some effect on your saliva as well. From what I've read, these types of medications are also known for causing excess stomach acid (symptoms of acid reflux), which in and of itself can have an impact on how much saliva you produce. Aside from changing medications, a simpl...

Is this a side effect? ## It isn't a normal side effect, but what may be happening is the Ketorolac may be causing some excess stomach acid and if that is causing GERD, it could be what's causing you to produce so much saliva. You can learn more Ketorolac details here. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and they are well known to cause an increase in stomach acid and to cause stomach irritation. I'm not a doctor, so you should check with your doctor before doing anything, but the solution may be as simple as adding an antacid, such as Tums. Have you been making sure to take i...
