I'm trying to find a doctor or therapist in my area who can help me with my symptoms for adderall diagnoses. I am located in Greenville, Alabama 36037, a mother of four kids and really need someone to help. Thank you ## Hello, Pepper! How are you? Adderall is not a diagnosis, it is a medication. The FDA classifies it as a stimulant that is used to treat conditions, such as ADHD, narcolepsy and shift-work sleep disorder, thus for it to be appropriate, a doctor would need to diagnose you with one of those conditions. It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia, weight loss and anorexia. Since it is a controlled substance, you aren't going to be able to just call around to doctors and ask them to ...

Adderall Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine

Adderall is used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy. It is also used as an athletic performance enhancer, cognitive enhancer, appetite suppressant, and recreationally as an aphrodisiac and euphoriant. It is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant of the phenethylamine class.

been on prescription since i was young and it is PERFECT it does all i need it to do my focus stays PERFECT - MY TREMOR WHICH I HAVE IN BOTH HANDS SUBSIDE AND THE SHAKING IN MY LEG STOPS.. No this medication isnt for everyone but for some of us it is the right thing..... ## Superb! Very glad that it has worked so well for you. It is unfortunate that many people don't understand that not all medications work for everyone that takes them. It is always possible for something to have no effect, or for it to cause a bad reaction, because it all depends on the person's own body. The mixed amphetamine salts in this can cause side effects in some people that may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and insomnia. Are there any questions or comments?

Can the following capsule be adderall, cause I lost some of mine a couple months ago. It's an orange capsule with white beads in it. ## Hello, Gary! How are you? What are the markings on it? That is what would enable it to be identified. If there are no markings, then it is not any U.S. prescription medication. The FDA warns that Adderall may be habit forming and causes side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, nervousness and insomnia.

I can't get my Adderall XR refill for 2 days. I take it as prescribed once per day. I didn't realize the script I had on hand was from over a month ago. Will I have a problem missing Sat and Sunday doses until I can get ahold of my doctor? ## I don't want to seem alarmist or cause you to worry, but it is possible that you may start to experience mild withdrawal symptoms if you are going for 2+ days without your usual dose. One good thing you have going for you is the fact that you are taking it once per day as prescribed, so it's not like you've been dosing your body at abnormally high amounts. I found an article about this on WebMD which states: "Signs of withdrawal usually show up a day or two after you stop taking it. They may last a few days to several weeks ...

I've been on Adderall since I was a kid and never had an issue in terms of the Teva generics. Like most people I've read about, I don't like the Corepharma at all, but since I moved to the middle of nowhere, I'd have to start getting my 30mg Adderall at Kinney Drugs, which uses this Aurobindo stuff. I am convinced that it's totally causing me some unknown problems. I had a massive foot infection from cellulitis that sent me to the hospital a couple weeks ago. I was on antibiotics etc for 3 days, got over it just fine, and now that I've recently filled it again, I am again noticing my foot inflaming etc, and I've had to start coupling it with what I have left of antibiotics. I have a disfigurement in my feet, called a tarsal coalition, common for people with i...

Hello. I've been taking Sandoz Adderall IR for about 5 months now, so far so good. I am taking around 10mg x2 a day and it doesn't last long enough, and when the crash comes I become very confused and bored. 1. Does Sandoz make Adderall XR? If so, is it any good compared to other brands or generics? 2. If not, what is the best generic for Adderall XR? ## Hello Tyler, Yes Sandoz has been making an XR version of their Adderall since mid 2017. Due to the ingredients being different in the XR, as well as other generics, I wouldn't be able to tell you which one would work best for you. It's also worth noting that since you would be switching to the XR the medication may not have as strong of an impact as it used to due to the lower dosages of active ingredients in your system...

I have a bottle of 90 Sandoz Adderall that I don't wan't. It's giving me headaches. I know the pharmacy won't take it back. How do I properly dispose of it without harming the environment? ## HI, Jane! You can take it to your pharmacy for disposal, that's usually one of the things they do. The other option recommended by the FDA actually isn't great for the environment, they instruct you to mix it in with some undesirable substance, such as used cat litter or coffee grounds, place it into a sealed container and dispose of it in the trash. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you! I guess I'll take it to the pharmacy. I wonder how they dispose of it. Couldn't take Activis adderall, different from others, terrible. ## Hello, Marguerite! How are you? I'm sorry that you had a problem with it. What types of symptoms did you experience, or did it just not work for you? The FDA classifies this medication as a stimulant that is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia, weight loss and anorexia. ## For the better part of 21 years, I have been on ADD meds, with about 16-17 years of that being on adderall. My dose was 60 mg a day for the last 7 or so years. Got off of it for a few years while not in school, and with the particular job I had, I felt I could manage my ADD without meds. However I am once again taking classes, and have...

Son Takes 10 instant release mg in a.m. then crashes and very unhappy at two pm. Give him another five and works well till bedtime or sometimes up all night. Also script say amphetamine salts instead of Adderall M.D. ordered. ## Have you talked to his doctor about the problem? He may need a dosage adjustment, or a switch to the regular or time release formulation of the medication. And Amphetamine salts are the active ingredients in Adderall, so that is just the generic for it. It may cause some other side effects, such as nausea, irritability, anorexia and insomnia.

Why are so many responders referring to Adderall as Speed? From my understanding, speed is a methamphetamine? Just wondering because I am considering Adderall as a possible alternative to Ritalin but don't want to take Speed! ## Adderall contains Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine, both of which are stimulants, just different from the ones in Ritalin. It is not specifically Adderall that is considered Speed by abusers, but any stimulant drug, including Ritalin. ## Having been diagnosed with adult add in '81, I can tell you ALL C-11 Stimulants are called speed on the streets. The way it was explained to me is that methamphetamine lasts longer and is the strongest of all the amphetamines. I have also read that a person that has used any of these drugs for an extended period of time...

trying to find a doctor who will prescribe easily in NJ, who wont ask any questions ## Hi lexie, To my knowledge, virtually any type of doctor can see you for ADHD (pediatrician, psychiatrist, regular MD). Whether or not they want to pursue treatment is up to them and if so they might go for another medication rather than Adderall. Chances are if you walk in and say you have ADHD, then ask for an Adderall script you won't get it because it is seen as what they call "drug seeking behavior". Also, you can't expect them to not ask any questions, because that is essentially part of their job in making sure they give you the right medication and aren't just handing it over to someone who only wants to abuse it. Depending on your approach, I'm sure Adderall will remain...

Hi, I have recently moved back to the new orleans area and need a doctor who liberally prescribes adderall. Any suggestions in the new orleans/metarie/ westbank area would be great. Thanks in advance ## Adderall is typically prescribed by psychiatrists and pediatricians, while general practitioners typically prescribe the medication for certain off-label uses. That said, I would consider finding psychiatrists and/or pediatricians in your area as opposed to a regular medical doctor. Reason being is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and many general physicians are reluctant to prescribe controlled substances due to abuse and the heavy regulations that they have to abide by from the government. I know this isn't a direct answer to your ...
