Beige oblong tablet, scored, 9 and 0 on the scored side and A on the reverse. Told it was citalopram 20mg but doesn't look like the usual tablet. ## The marking is actually A 06 and the tablet does contain 20mgs of Citalopram, the active ingredient in Celexa, which is an SSRI antidepressant. Learn more Citalopram details here. Since it is a generic, that means it is manufactured by several different companies and according to law, each tablet has to have unique markings to enable its identification and there are no guidelines on how they have to look. Is there anything else I can help with?

This pill is a white round pill with the numbers 104 and other side blank. I was get Percocet with the letters Rp on it are these Percocet 5mg/325 ## Hello, DB! How are you? According to federal law in the U.S., all manufactured prescription medications must have unique imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. The imprints must be logged with the FDA and enable someone to look up the dosage and manufacturer. Thus, when you receive the same medication from your pharmacy, but it looks different or has different markings, that means it has been manufactured by a different company. The tablet with the 104 marking is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic a...

it is a light blue tablet oval with center perforation for cutting in half....lortab ## What are the markings on the tablet? It is the imprint that would enable us to identify it for you, the shape and color actually don't mean anything. The imprints will vary according to dosage and manufacturer, but here are some examples: A blue, oblong with M361 on one side and a score on the other contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. Another blue, oblong with WATSON over 540 on one side and a score on the other contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. And there are several other blue tablets on the market, as well. Do either of these match the tablet in question?

I have a reduced colon due to cancer and also have a Jpouch. I started on Oxubutynin and the first day saw the pill in my stool. Again on the second day also. It is only staying in my body for 5-6 hours. Is that enough time for it to work? ## Hi Mildred, According to medsafe.govt, Oxybutynin is reportedly eliminated from the plasma with a less than 2 hour half-life; and it's bioavailability is said to be about 6%. From my understanding, this means that not only does it not have much time to work in your body once you take it, but also not very much of it is actually being absorbed either. This, in conjunction with whatever binders/fillers are being added to the tablet would probably be a valid reason for what you're experiencing. I've actually heard about this sort of thing ...

I will be taking Levofloxcin 500mg for 10 days. How long will it remain in my system after finishing the medicine? ## Several days, but not very long, since that is not a long time to be taking it. The mean terminal plasma elimination half-life of levofloxacin ranges from approximately 6 to 8 hours following single or multiple doses of levofloxacin given orally or intravenously." Every manufacturer must use an unique imprint code on their manufactured products and log them with the FDA. This ensures that if there is a problem with the product, it can be identified according to the manufacturer, active ingredient and dosage. Or if someone overdoses or has a medical emergency, emergency personnel will be able to identify what they have been taking, in case they are not cognizant and can't tell them. Can I take a 500 mg Cipro tablet after I took my Vitamin D supplement? The antibiotic is for a small boil. ## Dear Deb, Vitamin D is naturally present in our bodies from sunlight. I don't mean for this to come off as sarcastic in any way, but to my understanding Ciprofloxacin does not interfere with what's otherwise naturally occurring in our bodies (with the exception of reducing beneficial gut flora - and that could be replenished with prebiotics/probiotics). However I believe most vitamins and minerals in their raw form should be fine to take alongside it. I am also speaking from personal experience. NOTE: According to a Walgreen's disclaimer, "sulfa antibiotics in particular can reportedly cause photosensitivity", in which case, taking a Vitamin D supplement inst...

Results were low 0.2 Also absolute lymph was 4.20 high Vitamin D was low 14.3 Tx 2 tab q day x 4 days 1.25 Can you tell me do I need too have any concerns ## Hello, Mary! How are you? Generally, low bilirubin isn't a concern, most doctors don't even treat it, because there are so many different things that can cause it. Unless it accompanies other symptoms that may point to there being some other health issue going on, then it's nothing to be concerned about, as reported by the NIH. The elevate lymphocytes can be due to anything from an infection to more serious conditions, such as cancer. In most such situations, a doctor will recheck these values a few more times, a few weeks to a month apart each, to see i...

yellow oblong pill with 357 imprinted on it ## Sounds like Ultracet to me. It is a nonnarcotic pain reliever with acetametiphin in it. Dosage is one to two tablets. Anymore then two can be dangerous and don't even think about mixing it with alcohol unless you want permanant liver damage. IT won't make you high if that is what you are after. ## Did you mean the marking 537 on an oblong, yellow tablet? If so, the tablet is distributed by Amerisource Health Services, and they list it as containing 37.5mgs of Tramadol, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. NDC: 68084-0496 According to FDA reports, Tramadol does carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ## Inactive ingredients may include: Cellulose, Mi...

Hi, I am 41 years Unmarried lady.I had my periods on September 9th & 26th i.e. twice on a month for first time. It is usually nothing to worry about, as long as your doctor doesn't find anything wrong, though I understand that it can be worrisome and annoying. To put it simply, it just means that your body is starting the process of shutting down your ability to have children, event...

I have a pill that is white, round and kind of flat with a breast cancer ribbon logo on one side and the other side is scored with no other numbers or letters on it. Does anyone know what this could be? ## That is rather odd. That symbol, which is actually meant to be a stylized R is used by Actavis Pharmaceuticals on some of their products. However, according to NIH listings, they all have additional markings on them, I've not been able to find any that only have the R logo and nothing else. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? I'll keep looking and post back, when I have more information for you.

I took one tablet of Nabumetone around 11pm and feel very dizzy right now. How long does it remain active in your body? I took one 750mg Tablet ## Hi Tina, Sorry to hear about how you were feeling. Are you doing any better now? According to nih.gov, Nabumetone has a 24 hour half-life. This means if you took 750 milligrams, then by the 24 hour mark there would only be 375 active milligrams left. Every 24hrs, half of every remaining half can be subtracted in order to get an estimate of how long that dose stays in your body; which seems to me that it could be several days. I hope this helps!

Ok my sister is worried about me taken the amount of this medication. I'm taken 2 tablets of hydrocodon-acetaminophn 10-500 as needed 3 times a day. This would mean I'm taken 60-3000. Is this gonna cause problems with my liver. What is a healthy liver number before one should start to be concerned. ## According to the FDA, the current maximum recommended adult dose of acetaminophen is 4,000 milligrams per day. So in my opinion you should be fine with the amount you've been prescribed. However other webpages have noted that Extra Strength Tylenol packages will now list the maximum daily dose as six pills, or a total of 3,000 milligrams, down from eight pills a day, or 4,000 milligrams. My suggestion is if you have to take this amount on a regular basis, I'd consider chang...

Can I take Mucinex along with Tylenol & Amoxicillin / Clavulanate Potassium Tablets, USP 875 mg/125 mg? ## Hi Nancy, According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no interactions listed between Mucinex, Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Amoxicillin. While this doesn't necessarily mean no interactions exist, I personally haven't had any issues taking these together in the past. However, if in doubt, it may be a good idea to double check with your doctor first. I hope this helps!
