My nanny is 83 and is taking these way too often. She is only supposed to take them once a day but she takes them multiple times a day then falls and is getting hurt but she's only been taking them for a few days so it's not like she's addicted to them. It is an oblong oval solid maroon pill, with no markings on it at all. it is flat along the sides of it. About this---> ( ) long when I put it up to the monitor. I am just curious... Kinda mysterious without a label. ## Well, it can be ruled out as being a prescription tablet, because they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. So yes, it is most likely some type of over the counter product. Unfortunately, that really doesn't tell me the size, since my monitor may be different than yours, so things like text and symbols may appear smaller or larger to me. I have a Vitamin B12 deficiency. This was found in 2002. I completed my course of treatment for 6 months. After that I took 2x more. recently I checked again and found it to be a very low level of Vitamin B12. Previously as per my doctor's prescription I used Vitamin B12 With Vitneuron (Glaxo), this combination of B1, B6 & B12 and my levels were recovered very soon after. Now I am searching for this medicine but it's not available in the market and out of stock. I used their website to purchase injectable B12. The site was rather confusing and there was a drop down menu to choose one of three selections. The picture that accompanied the drop down menu had a larger bottle and a smaller bottle. The drop down menu had what seemed to be vials of larger or smaller amounts. Do you take this supplement at night or with meals? When are you supposed to take it? ## You should take vitamin d with some sort of fat- any meal is fine. But you should be aware that taking D2 is NOT the recommended form of Vitamin D. Please take a look at the page on Vitamin D3 to see why that is preferred.
