I don't have a picture to post for you, due to copyright reasons, but I can give you some descriptions and markings. There is a 10mg Oxycontin tablet, that should have the marking of OP on one side and 10 on the other, the other tablets had OC on on side and 10 on the other and they are both white. I was taking 40 mg of OxyContin for a rare bone syndrome. I have chronic back, leg, and joint pain. I starter taking percocet but I find to get the pain managed I have to take up to at least 5 pills at once of the percocets to match that of the OxyContin. Is this okay and does that make since? Especially since I am taking up to 15 a day? should I just ask to be switched back to OxyContin? ## I am very sorry that you're in so much pain. Yes, you should definitely look into switching off of the Percocet. It contains both Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and you are exceeding the daily maximum dosage of Acetaminophen, which is just 3,000mgs. Each Percocet tablet contains 325mgs of it, so you should not be taking more than 9 of them a day, at most. Taking more than that risks fatal toxicity....

Yesterday I picked up a 20 day supply of oxycontin 30 mg. It was a 20 day script. At 2 a day my px was for 60. I was HORRIFIED when the pharmacist billed me for 325.00, including my insurance discount. They claimed there is not a generic oxycontin. What does a roxycodone 15 mg immediate release look like.. I was prescribed this today. I had hip surgery and was sent home with a little green pill with a m in a box on one side and a 15 on the other. Is this the same thing? My bottle says oxycodone 15 mg.. But it doesn't specify immediate release. ## There is no immediate release Oxycodone in that dosage, thus, the 15mg tablets that you've received are regular release tablets. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. I had a dirt bike accident and broke my pelvis. It is a permanent break. Can not be fixed. Had surgery to bore 2 inches of bone out of my bladder. I take 15 mg . oxycodone 2 twice a day. I just moved to Hampton Roads, Virgina and am looking for a pain management doctor that will be willing to write for my meds. I have been a pain management patient for over 15 years and I take OxyContin, oxycodone and lyrica. I have sent my records to two big pain clinics and I am waiting to hear back from them to see if they will accept me as a patient or not.
