Thanks. ## There are a wide variety of magnesium supplements; some are in pill form and some are in powdered form that you can easily empty and stir into a glass of water. I've personally used the powdered packets that you put in your water and they have good flavor as well. As far as the shape or look of a pill goes, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so you'd really just have to search around and try all the brands out there till you find one that is reasonable for you to take. I've been taking 15 mg deplin for nearly 6 months and it seems to be working quite well. I'm a single and disabled mom and don't get child support. My parents have been paying for itit, but it isn't fair to them. I went to see my psychiatrist yesterday who looked it up. He thinks that if I were to take folic acid, calcium and magnesium that it would be equivalent to the active ingredients in deplin. Is this true? If it is, what would the amounts of each supplement be to equal the 15 mg deplin? I can't afford to stay on the deplin anymore, so any information will be greatly appreciated!!! I have had similar side effects to taking Gleevec and Meloxicam. What compounds are the same in these two meds that I am allergic to. Mainly, severe facial swelling. I am age 67, female, have never used any chronic med, active and healthy. When stressed I suffer from body pains. I am AB positive blood group. I use supplements daily, vit B complex, folic acid, vit C, Calcium, magnesium and grapeseed extract. I seldom use alcohol and have never smoked. I have always been prone to heartburn especially when I eat anything containing flour. What is the safest way of dealing with muscle pain or sometimes leg pain or back pain? Is the Aurobindo version of Clonidine HCL (0.2mg) gluten-free? ## Aurobindo lists the inactive ingredients of their Clonidine 0.2 mg (NDC 59651-233) as including: Corn starch, hypromellose, lactose, magnesium stearate, microcystalline cellulose 101, polysorbate 80. D&C Yellow 10, FD&C Blue #1. So, it looks like it is gluten free, but please be aware that inactive ingredients may change in the future.
