it is a yellow pill ## I have two prescriptions for Clarith romycin but the pills are no the same. The older one has oblong yellow pale pills with DV on one side and D on the other. The brand new prescription has larger more tapered oval pills, the same pale yellow, stample 7158 on one side, and 93 on the other. I have severe osteoporosis, have lost SEVEN inches off my height, and look like a turtle with the big hump on the back. My specialist recommended Prolia which I started two years ago. After the first shot I got severe diarrhea starting about ten days later. I had been treated with an antibiotic so my Dr. thought that was the cause. After the second shot the diarrhea came back and the Dr. recommended Align probiotics (and any others I cared to take --"the more the better"). I went to my MD who did not look at my blood pressure, temperature or heart rate; this after I gave the MD my history. I got sick suddenly on Tuesday night, with a high temperature, diarrhea, vomiting and body pain. They did not examine me. I was put on a bed and taken straight to the ER room for vitamins in drip and Buscopan. I was then sent home with a script only to find out it is only tans 3x 500mg one a day, plus Zelitrex tabs which is used to treat and prevent (recurring) infections with the herpes viruses. It can't be a coincidence that I had, and am now having again, diarrhea following each of the last 2 PET CT scans that I have had for melanoma in a lymph node. I have looked up the active ingredient in the CT part, Omnipaque 350, and see that is one study, 42% of 54 people had diarrhea, but it doesn't say how long it lasted. It went away for 3 months in between the scans. Please let me know if you have experienced this.
