What Color Pill Is Methadone

I've been at my methadone clinic for two-and-a-half years in New York and I've heard that out west they have different colors such as orange, green, even blue, but where I'm at it's red with water. The next dose tends to get lighter in red. ## In a Treatment Center, where a yellow liquid called methodose is given. Is that methodose or methodone. Can liquid methodone be yeklow? ## Bee, After doing some research I found that methadone comes in a variety of colors, including orange, green, blue, red, white, brown. The difference between these is the formula of inactive ingredients that they use. I hope this helps.

I'm sorry, but since Methadone is a generic, it is manufactured by several different companies, in various dosages and all such tablets will have different markings to enable their identification in case of emergency, thus, I can't possibly post pictures or descriptions of all of them for you. My husband is taking liquid methadone has been for about four years and this morning he noticed his medicine was cloudy and then he took his other doses out and found several others of his doses were too. They were filled at the same time. Is this supposed to happen? And is it common? He said he hasn't bee feeling right for the last couple of days. I am worried, has anyone have this happen to thiers? There are many generic manufacturers and each one of them will make a pill that looks different. There are no rules saying that pills with the same ingredient have to look the same! The size, color, shape and imprint will all vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. For example, I have seen pictures from round white with imprint 54 over 142 on one side and a score in the middle on the other to Pink, scored 4 ways with Lilly and U53 below it. I usually take methadone i get from the clinic but i wasted a bottle with dirty water out of the sink.. I was given a bottle of orange liquid from a family member who says it's methadone from hospice. I've been on methadone for almost 13 yrs due to a car accident when I was a teenager that left me disabled and with chronic pain. My current Dr. Received a letter from the Medical Board ( which he let me see) explaining that in order to keep prescribing methadone that he will need to get a license that will allow him too continue to perscribe this. My dr said it's became a huge hassle and that because of other patients "dr shopping" he just can't do it anymore. I've been with him for over 6 yrs! The liquid methadone doesn't always taste like cherry. They add water 2 it and that interferes with the taste. It all depends on how much water they add. I've been on MMT for 15 years. Currently my disease is 180 per day. I've been on that or more for 6 years or so. For the past several months I've developed diarrhea with blood in it. It's gotten worse over time, and now there's a lot of blood. Enough to turn the color of the water red, dark red at times.
