I have been on perocet 10/325 for many yrs, and now my Dr. Switched me to oxycodone HCl 20mg tablets.my question is, how do I know if it is a extended release or an instant release, as my script says neither on it ? The only legal time released formulation of Oxycodone on the current U.S. market is Oxycontin and the 20mg tablet of the new formulation has the marking OP 20 and the original had the marking OC 20, they should be round and light pink in color. The Pharmacy gave me the white Oxycodone Whit with 15 on one side. They are no where near as effective as what I have been taking previously. No pain relief. I havee never been on one of the Boards but happened upon this one trying to see what the deal is whith the white ones. I have just took 3. (perscribed 20 every 6 hours) I have never been able to tolerate more than 2. This is a trial to see what happens relief wise and to see if I can or cannot tolerate.
