My grandpa is 77 years old and he accidentally took 2 tablets of Atenolol 50mg at a time. Will any serious injury occur in regards to his health? I am age 70 and taking Telma 40 but my blood pressure is not under control (160/110). I have scarring in my lungs and reduced lung function. I get easily tired. Can I take Atenolol also (along with using Telma 40) for reducing my blood pressure? ## Has your doctor told you to take both of them? I took 20 mg Lisinopril a second time instead of 50 mg Atenolol. Supposed to take the Lisinopril once daily and the Atenolol twice. Am I okay? ## If you are concerned then you should call poison control at (800) 222-1222. From what I was reading, the biggest risk would be your blood pressure dropping too low (hypotension). Can I take Glovit-Cal and Absolut 3G tablets daily or should I instead take Supradyn? The first 2 do not have Vitamin A. I have been taking atenolol 50 + stamlo 5 in the morning and losar 50 in the evening for blood pressure control for the last 8 years. I also take ecosprin 150, clopilett 75 in the afternoon and tonact 10 at night... With these i am comfortable and my bp usually is within limits around 140/80. However, recently i noticed that it is going to the higher side of 160/90 sometimes. Can I use losar h instead of losar? Is there any interaction between losar h and stamlo?

I have been taking a half tablet of Amlopress-AT daily for several years. It used to keep my blood pressure (BP) at 130/80, sometimes even less than that. A doctor friend of mine advised me to avoid this medicine, as it contains Atenolol, a beta blocker; as per him, it's not suitable for someone of my age (62 years). He suggested that I switch to Ramcor 2.5 mg. So, for the last month, I have been taking Ramcor daily instead of Amlopress-AT.
