what to take for tooth ache when pregnant
Hi my wife has severe tooth ache and went to see the doctor. He gave her antibiotic due to the absess the tooth made but said she can only use panado for her tooth and she is pregnant. Panado does not help what else can she take? ## Be sure the antibiotics aren't Tetracycline. It can turn the babies teeth yellow when their teeth come in. She may need to see a dentist. It is difficult to treat someone when they're pregnant because there are two patients instead of one. The Panado may work better after she has had several doses of the antibiotic. ...

Diclogem Tablet for tooth ache
My tooth ache is getting worse. I had a Diclogem tablet, still did not help. Please advise. ## Hi, Connie! Sorry about the toothache. Have you contacted your dentist? Most toothaches are caused by some type of damage or decay of the tooth and if it's a deep, very painful ache, then it's most likely infected and that's going to require an antibiotic, as well as getting the problem corrected. It isn't going to clear up on its own and trying to take a medication for the pain, without seeing your dentist isn't going to help a lot, because the pain will just keep returning. Dental infections have the potential to be very dangerous, if left untreated, because they can be directly linked to heart disease and heart valve infections, so it isn't a risk that's worth ta... ...

some one gave it to me for a tooth ache
its a round white pill and it has numbers just on one side the numbers are 54 at the top of the pill and 142 at the bottom of the pill ## If you are not used to taking narcotics, please DO NOT TAKE THIS! This is 10mgs Methadone, a very strong narcotic analgesic, highly addictive and if you are not used to narcotics, then you could end up in the hospital or dead! This is not something that should be taken just for a toothache and no doctor would prescribe it for something that minor, when there are a ton of other options that would help and be much safer. ...

Is This Good For A Tooth Ache Infection
I have a tooth ache my dentist appoimment its not till September the 8th so can I take pentrexyl to help with the infection untill I see the dentist? ## I am not a doctor, so I cannot say if this is the best medication for you to take for this infection, but I'm sure it will help get the job done. It looks like Ampicillin is the active ingredient in this medication. Ampicillin has been used extensively to treat bacterial infections since 1961 according to my research. To learn more about Ampicillin, click on the link below... Although I personally suggest looking into Clove Essential Oil. It's a natural remedy for dental issues as far as alleviating tooth aches (anaesthetic properties) and fighting infections (antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal properties). h49 help a tooth ache
I was told that the first sign of infection in the mouth is pain will this help ## It would be more accurate to say that pain in the mouth might be the sign of an infection, because pain could also be caused by issues other than an infection. The tablet with this marking is a generic for Bactrim, which is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of infections and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and non-allergic skin rash. Learn more Bactrim details here. However, you should't take it, unless your doctor or dentist has instructed you to do so. If you don't have an infection, taking it creates the risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. This is also a possibility if you do have an infection, but don't have enough of the an... ...

Tooth Ache Pain Reliever
NAPROXIN OR IBUPROFEN, WHICH IS BETTER ## Hi IETTY, Depending on the dose, both of these medications could effectively handle the pain associated with a toothache. Some people however prefer Naproxen over Ibuprofen because of certain side effects and that it may be easier on their stomach. Others find a few hundred mgs of Ibuprofen to be more than sufficient for a toothache. There are just many different reasons for choosing one over the other... One patient review I found stated that 400mgs of Ibuprofen every 4 to 6 hours was sufficient enough to take care of their toothache; although I haven't come across any specific details on Naproxen's equivalent dose for this same treatment. I think it will simply come down to which medication you react best to. Have you tried either one ... ...

I have severe tooth pain for which Advil only works for about an hour. The pain started suddenly, How long will it take amox clav 625 mgs to work? ## Hello, Jerseygirl! How are you? This is an antibiotic, not a pain reliever and it will take about 3 days for it to start working to eradicate the bacteria, though you shouldn't experience any worsening after the first 24 hours. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

What All Is Nitrofurantoin Used For
i have a tooth ache and had a bladder infection from a vaginal hysterectomy and bladder sling with pelvic mesh from prolapse that keep setting up infections can this drug treat my tooth ache also and what else can it be used for ## Nitrofurantoin is an antibiotic that's usually used to treat UTIs and E. Coli. And the first relevant factor here is that you shouldn't be trying to self-diagnose and self-treat, just because you have some antibiotic left at home. You may not have enough to properly treat any given infection, which creates the risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. That can also be a problem if you take it for something that turns out not to be an actual infection. And if your toothache is due to a dental infection, this may help, but it would only be ... ...

hi im dieing will pain nd all i have is melfen 400mg film coated tablets ibuprofen for my tooth ach is this any harm tanks ## Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and it's often used for dental pain, but I am not sure how much it will help, though it may take the edge off. Learn more Ibuprofen details here. The main problem with a tooth ache is that it is going to keep lingering and returning, unless you see a dentist and get the underlying problem taken care of, such as getting a cavity filled or having a root canal done, having the tooth extracted or whatever is required. i have a tooth ache really bad cannot stand the pain anymore can use hydrocodone apa
I have a tooth ache really hurts and cannot take thd pain anymore all I have is hydrocodone apap can I take that to relive the pain. Please help ## Hello, Connie! How are you? I'm very sorry about the tooth ache. While this medication is often prescribed for toothaches, it will not help correct the underlying cause, such as a deep dental cary. So, you still need to see your dentist, as you may actually require an antibiotic, if an infection is present. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

can ciprofloxacin be used to treat tooth infections
I was prescribed ciprofloxacin for five days by my dentist and on the forth day I suddenly developed severe lower back pain, and generalized aches and pain which have lasted for past month and only gradually beginning to subside. I only suspected the ciproxin when a friend was taking it for chest infection and developed pain in Achilles tendon and is finding it difficult to walk. ## I was prescribed ciprofloxin hcl 500 mg tabs for a tooth infection. So far I have taken 3 tabs. At this time I have had no side effects. ## Hi, Nancy! How are feeling? Or should I just go and get my tooth out? What do u recommend? ## Hello, Cielo! How are you? This is an antibiotic, so while it may help with an infection, if one is present, it will not help with the underlying issue that's caused the infection, such as the chipped tooth, so yes, you do need to see a dentist for a proper treatment. amox tr k clv 875 125mg for infection of tooth
I have had a severe tooth ache for the last 2 days and now I am afraid I have an infection in the root of my tooth. Last year when I saw my dentist he said I do need a root canal done. Can Amox Tr K Clv help with the pain and the infection ## Hello, Lou! How are you? This is an antibiotic, so it will only help with bacterial infections, it does nothing to treat pain. It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. If you've not had the root canal done, yet, then this its most likely a deep dental infection and it is going to require treatment, most likely an extraction.
