I had a fungal infection for which the doctor prescribed me plain candid cream to be applied externally on my vulvar area for one month. Within ten days if using the cream, they symptoms subsided but had not gone away completely but I stopped using the cream as my period started. Now I hadn't applied the cream during my period. I'm nearly 5 years in from my breast cancer diagnosis... I was 34 I'm now 39 and at the end of October it will be 5 years clear! Hello I was prescribed augmentin for an ear infection and im almost done with them but recently within the last few days ive noticed my vaginal area is super itchy. i HAVE A VERY ITCHY VAGINA AND possibly a UTI. I've been taking AZO standard it make my urine dep orange. was going to dr.'s tomorrow. It sounds like you may have a yeast infection, which will require an antifungal medication to eradicated. As to the nupercaine, you shouldn't use anything vaginally that hasn't been specially formulated to be used that way, it may actually make the infection worse. Have you consulted your doctor?
