It is Ibuprofen 600 mg. I just got a prescription for it, My wisdom teeth were taken out. They are Pointless if you ask me, They don't help allot with the pain... but they do help with swelling i guess.. ## Well, what you have to understand is that Ibuprofen is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, it is not a narcotic, so while it helps with pain, its effects are limited. This is the same medication that is found in a lower dose, over the counter in Advil and Motrin. I take motrin 800 mg, a co-worker gave me a white oblong pill that has the number 391 on it. She said it works like motrin. Her mother takes them ## Sun Pharmaceuticals states this tablet contains 600mgs of Oxaprozin, which is also a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. However, since this is a prescription medication, you should not take it, if it has not been prescribed for you. It may not be safe for you to take. Are you on any other medications? Do you have any diagnoses medical conditions?

Another related discussion thread on this site also implies an 800 mg Motrin (which contains Ibuprofen as the active ingredient). The manufacturer is reportedly Amneal.
