Why is it small and yellow, I was taking the lortab blue pill ## The color and size don't actually mean anything, the company may just manufacture their pills differently, so they use less fillers, than other manufacturers. What are the markings on the tablet in question? The name brand Norco that is a yellow tablet in the 10/325mg dosage is oval and has the marking NORCO 539 on one side of the tablet. There is also a generic, that is a yellow, oval with the marking WATSON 853. Another yellow, oval one with the marking 3601 on one side and a V on the other side. Do any of these match the tablet you have? If not, please post back with markings and I will gladly check it for you.

Oxycodone in my research seems to be the next step up the latter, but some chronic pain patients may feel that Tramadol, Morphine, Opana, or Dilaudid would be better alternatives. I for one have never taken anything other than Hydrocodone and Morphine in the realm of narcotic analgesics, so I can only go off charts on the web and my own experience, which tells me that Morphine provided greater relief than Hydrocodone after a nose surgery I had done several years ago. Been on suboxone for 4 1/2 for oxy addiction. Funny enough I now have lupus. Doc put me on norco even though I said I on subs by different dr. You really shouldn't double up, without their approval. You would be getting twice the amount of Acetaminophen as usual and that may cause problems, with certain health conditions and other medications. Why was your dosage changed? ## I don’t know. I go to a RA doc about 225 miles round trip from my home and the nurse always puts my scripts in an envelope and seals it. I didn’t open it until I took it to my pharmacy and when my husband picked them up is when I caught the error! It was a different color, shape and lower mg. I have had severe RA for 40 yrs.

Just an FYI. I woke up in the hospital on a respirator after my teenage son found me. This was not intentional. I developed pneumonia. Oh! I woke up deaf. I couldn't hear for two days. My kidneys failed and I was on dialysis for 8 weeks. My overall hospital stay was almost four weeks. My family noticed a marked difference in my personality. Two years later I'm finally more like myself. I still take my pain meds, I developed an allergy to ambien and was told to never take any kind of anti inflammatory again! IMO most OD's are combos. Based on my research, patients using Methadone have reported it as being much stronger than Hydrocodone, which is combined with Acetaminophen in Norco. For example, some state that (10 mg) of Methadone give a similar effect as a (30 mg) or (40 mg) Hydrocodone.
