My girl friend is addicted to contraceptive pill and i want have baby. Is there any tablet i can take against her pills as she don't want to get off it? ## Hello, Georges! How are you? No, it would be unethical and a violation of her rights to do that, anyway. She can't be addicted to contraceptives, they aren't habit forming. If she wanted to have a child, she'd just need to stop them for a few months. The best thing to do, would be to just sit down and discuss your wishes with her to find out what you both want out of this relationship. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi I'm Mona can you help me to have a baby. What medicine should i take.

I was using petogen as my contraception for about a year and then i discontinued using it for about 3 months now. I was bleeding for this past 3 months and then the nurse suggested that I must use the oralcon. It's been 5 days now and i have already missed two of them and i was intimate with my partner. Is there any risk of falling pregnant because i never used protection? Plz help. ## Hello, Bianca! How are you? Yes, there is, so it would be best to have yourself checked for pregnancy to be sure. The typical side effects of oral contraceptives may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

I started taking Lo Loestrin FE on 10/12/13, the Sunday after my last period. This Wednesday I started bleeding brown a little, but only when I wiped. Now it's Friday and I'm bleeding even more, but I shouldn't have my period for another week and a half. Is this just my body adjusting or should I stop taking it and as my gyno for something else? ## Hello, Katrina! How are you? Yes, it can take about 3 months for your body to get used to these hormonal contraceptives and breakthrough bleeding is very common during that time period. However, it is best to consult your doctor to be sure that there's nothing else unusual going on. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes thank you so much! Hi I took an emergency contraceptive within 14 hours of having intercourse. ten days later I had withdrawl bleeding.and now again within 15 days of my withdrawl bleeding i have got my period again. I'm worried if i am pregnant or what is wrong .Please help ## Hello, Risha! How are you? These emergency contraceptives use hormones to prevent pregnancy, which means that they can also disrupt your natural hormone cycle. It's not likely that you're pregnant, if you've had these bleeding episodes, but it may take a few weeks for things in your body to balance back out to return to normal. Have you consulted your doctor? It's always best to do so, just to be extra safe. ## Hi Verwon, Thanks for your reply ....I'm still on my period..cramping is more than usual ...just f...

Hello, i just want to ask, is it ok to take another pack after finishing tge 21pills? I did not follow the 7 day free pill. The purpose of taking the pills is for my acne breakouts and thinking that it could help regularized my mens. Is it normal to have a delayed mens since this is my first timee to use the product? I am just curious if its safe or what. Or the 7days free pill must be followed?? Looking forward for your reply. Thank you. ## The 7 days free is what allows you to have a period, when taking oral contraceptives, according to the NIH. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. Thus, it is best to take those 7 days off. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi! I've had my jadelle in for 11 months and no period, all of a sudden I have a 3 day period is that possible ## Me too! I've had mine for 13 months with ZERO sign of a period and all of a sudden I'm on! Really worried it could be something to do with pregnancy but I can't find any info on this situation... Although my GP did say that if you get a period on Jadelle when you wouldn't normally and you have been intimately active with a new partner, you should get an STI check as it can be a symptom for a number of things. Best of luck hun I hope everything is okay for both of us! Any more info would be hugely appreciated! ## That can be a normal occurrence with hormonal contraceptives, such as this. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache...

Vitamins ## is it good to take conzace multivitamins and diane-35 pill at the same time? ## There are no problems that I'm aware of between taking a multivitamin and oral contraceptives, but it's best to check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. From what I can tell, if the vitamins are strong, you may experience more nausea than usual if you take them together. If that happens, it would likely be best to take them with a small meal, or separate them by a few hours. Is there anything else I can help with?

My depo shot just ended . I got it o December 8th, 3 months would make March 8th. If I were to be pregnant and didn't know and started taking Sprintec, what would happen to the baby? ## Hello, Candace! How are you? It would be best to check for pregnancy, before starting the oral contraceptive, if you have reason to suspect that you might be pregnant. However, oral contraceptives will not end an existing pregnancy, if you start them and are pregnant. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, breakthrough bleeding and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

My marriage is in 2 days and my menstrual cycle started in spite of taking medicine to temporarily stop it. What to do? I'm concerned. ## The best method to stop your period is to take contraceptives or birth control. Before you take you should see your gynecologist or local doctor who will give you advice on which type will ideal suit your requirements. Your doctor will describe what to be expecting, what dosage to take, and also any risks involved. Birth control pills inhibit fertilization and ovulation. They can be in a patch form, IV or oral. The best way to stop periods is to use oral contraceptives in pill form. These pills must be taken one cycle before the period that you do not want to have. When consumed on a regular basis as directed, you will stop getting periods. Once y...

Can I use purbac double strength while I am taking contreceptives that are called Nordette? I have recently started both medications. ## Hello, Tray! How are you? According to the details provided by the NIH, this antibiotic may reduce the efficacy of your oral contraceptives, so it would be best to use a back up method of contraception, such as condoms, while you are taking the antibiotic. The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I was prescribed purbac double strength for acne a week ago with epiduo gel. Now my skin looks like it's peeling off & dry. Is it supposed to peel off? Really need to knw,cn oralcon b used as morning after pills ## Hello, Lerato! How are you? Many oral contraceptives can be used as emergency contraceptives, but you shouldn't do so, unless you doctor has approved, because it requires taking multiples, at once, depending on the dosage of the hormones in them. It's really best to use the tablets that are specifically made in the correct dosages for this purpose. Have you consulted your doctor about the issue? Have considered just taking the Oralcon daily as a contraceptive to prevent pregnancy? That is much safer than using the emergency contraception.

Im trying to push back starting my period by one week bc I will have it on my honeymoon ?? - I currently take tri-previfem. If I delay starting my new pack by a week (after having a period) will this work? ## Hi Olivia, Congrats on getting married! My best wishes for your honeymoon... From what I understand it is possible to pre or postpone one's menstrual cycle with the use of hormonal contraceptives. However there are certain ways to do this with different brands/generics and forms of treatment. This is not to say that your method may or may not work, but because there is a diverse range of applications to achieve this, I think it would probably be best to work closely with your prescribing doctor in order to ensure that dosing and administration timing are done properly for your ...

So I have been on sprintic for a year I stoped taking them to have another baby after I had him I started taking it again well its been a full year 6 hours after I take the last blue pill when I was in the bathroom a white clump of stringy stuff come out and I noticed some light bleeding what could this be? ## It is very hard to fathom a guess from just the limited information in your post. However, both breakthrough bleeding and discharge can be normal when you're taking hormonal contraceptives and when you aren't taking them. Have you consulted your doctor? That would be the best thing to do, so they can help you determine if there is a problem.
