IK so I started wellbutrin 300mg two days ago, I already feel calm, the doctor said it would help me lose weight, I have zero interest in food and its only been two days. Although I do feel more aggressive like I get aggravated so easy, and I am getting up moving and stuff more than.I was, does the aggressive feeling go away? How long does it take to lose weight? Okay, I am hoping to get some help. I was on Pristiq 100 mg for the last three years. My insurance now is having a higher co-pay plus I have gained 25 lbs. So the PA switched my to Wellbutrin SR 150mg. It is day three and I feel awful. Very foggy and light headed. Well I found out from her nurse today, that I should not be having any caffeine when I take it. How long will this feeling last?? Anyone have words of wisdom. I am not hungry and that is the good thing. Hi Gang, I have ADD, a PhD and depression that seems to be rooted in the ADD... Like I have great ideas but 1. I disagree with myself about what to do first and 2. I have a hard time estimating time and so have a hard time organizing my days. On Wellbutrin 150 mg now for 1.5 months and I feel great, no big difference except some killer headaches at first and feeling thirsty a lot. Drinking water helps a lot! Haha. I started on bupropion xl 300 (brand zydus) on sept 14th this year for depression. It helped gradually over the month and by one month in I was feeling alot better. I went to pick up my refill and didnt notice until I got home that they gave me a different brand. It was bupropion xl 300 (brand actavis). While taking this new brand I seemed to gradually be getting my depression feelings back. I then found direct success and my doctor sent in a prescription for the brand name wellbutrin xl 300. I took it only 3 days but it was almost like I was not taking anything. I had all my symptoms back! Do pay attention to the company brand names. I've been on Sandoz brand for years with no problem. In fact, I was doing pretty good. Then my pharmacy closed or retired. The new pharmacy sent me Mylan brand, a blue color with an M non it. They make me lethargic and doped. So generic companies ingredients are not all exactly the same. ## I started taking the blue pill by mylan a week ago and do not like it. It makes me irritable, dizzy, anxious. I was taking the generic brand by Watson before that for 2 weeks and I felt great. Is is possible to use the two and feeling beter: Cym Gen 60mg Info & Wellbutrin ## Cymgen contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, both it and the Bupropion in the Wellbutrin are antidepressants. Has your doctor instructed you to take them both? If not, then it isn't advisable, because taking the Bupropion with the Duloxetine may increase the risk of dose related seizures. Thus, when a doctor does have someone using both of them, the dosages have to be carefully calculated and the person must be monitored on a regular basis.

I started taking 150 mg of Wellbutrin xl for anxiety. My first two days were tough with increased symptoms, which the pharmacist had already warned me of. The horrible side effects got less and less as the days progressed. By day 8 I was feeling great, anxiety was still lingering, not as bad. On day 13, I started the 300 mg, that was 7 days ago. I take it every morning at 8am. I am feeling good in the morning and every day around 1pm I start feeling horrible. Suddenly I am feeling drugged, dizzy, nauseous and disoriented. I continued to take it hoping these side effects would taper off like they did with the 150 mg, but it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I have been prescribed Wellbutrin XL 150mg/day for depression in addition to Lexapro (that I have been on for over 15 years 20mg). I feel kind of out of it, and I don't like it. I have been taking this for 6 days. Had a horrible headache the fist couple of days, but that seems to be subsiding. I have a bad taste in my mouth, but am starving. Due to weight gain and dwindle effect, my doctor switched my anti-depressant from Effexor XR. He told me to stop the Effexor XR immediately and start the Wellbutrin XL. He said to take the Wellbutrin XL for one week then start the Pristiq. FOr those of you who have stopped Effexor you probably know what I'm going to say next. I was taking the Accord version of Wellbutrin since last December and doing really well on it. Last month I got the Lupin brand and my anxiety came back over the few weeks I took it knowing I had a different manufacturer. My anxious thoughts I had before meds came back and I got back on the Accord brand six days ago but anxious thoughts are still there. I took the lupin brand all month. I'm adding a post to hopefully help someone as reading other people's posts has been very helpful/comforting to me! I have been on 50 mg of Pristiq for 5 years and I just made the transition to Wellbutrin xl at 300 mg. My doc switched me because my libido was becoming obsolete and wellbutrin is not supposed to adversely effect this. He had me start by overlapping the two meds for Week 1...Maintaining 50 mg of pristiq and adding Wellbutrin XL at 150 mg. I felt completely fine, didn't notice anything different. When you first started taking Wellbutrin how soon did you know it was working? ## I was prescribed recently wellbutrin xl 150. After 2 weeks and good effects such as waking up easy and alert, feeling"lifted" my psych. chose to up the dose to 300. I have been on this for 1 week my side effects arent as good example- drowsy and harder to wake up- not having that same lift as with 150. Ive been on Methadone maintenance (150 mgs) for 3 yrs now, and started taking Wellbutrin about 1 yr ago. Everything had been going great for awhile, but then the Wellbutrin seemed to stop working as well. So last week my Dr. put me on Effexor 75mg once a day. As soon as i started taking it I started feeling REALLY WEIRD. My depression seems to be better, but the side effects are freaking me out! I have been switching from an SNRI (nefazadone) to Viibryd and also take Wellbutrin. Today I got to the point in the taper where I took Viibryd (20mg) + my Wellbutrin w/o my old medicine. I have this strange sort of anxious feeling...almost like restlessness but I don't feel like I have to move... its like energy sitting on me, or running through my extremities... I was recently prescribed this by my Doc for 3 months this summer. I used it for only 2 and a day later it went away, I was no longer sad, or getting angry, It was like nothing brought me down I was happy and the best part I never got a "high" feeling from it this what I had requested from my doctor, it was like i was taking vitamins . so a month later my depression came back. I was put on Wellbutrin 150 XL..and for awhile did really well on that. Then started feeling somewhat depressed again and she increased it to 300 XL once a day.
