I am actually overweight with no diabetes problem, but i was advised by a friend that glycomet would help me to lose weight very quickly. In your opinion, is it advisable? Would i suffer from any side effects? ## I am taking glycomet 1gm after breakfast and 1.5gm after supper. From 2006 till last month my sugar levels were controlled but as of late they are 170 fasting and 270 after meals. Not every medication works for everyone that tries, but you should give it about 4 to 6 weeks to each its full level of effectiveness in your body. If you're not seeing any improvement after that, then you should consult your doctor. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Belviq as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, sweating and anorexia.

I started on 30 mg / the bumped to 50 7 weeks ago and last Fri started on 70 mg. I did not see a huge difference in my weight or appetite about 3 monts ago. It kicked in full force. I had no appetite and my energy level sky rocked. I have went from 176 pounds down to 150. I went from a size 14 down to 8 and sometimes a six I am also on 150 mg of Wellbutrin 3 times per day. My Dr. would like me to switch from Paxil Cr, which I have been taking for 2 years now to Cymbalta because of the the weight gain side effect I'm having with Paxil. Over the last two months I have lost 20 pounds and I am already thin to begin with. I do have Crohn's Disease but they do not think this is the cause from testing they have run. I have terrible stomach pain, suffer from migraines (always have) but I have noticed that my appetite has basically disappeared, I can go days without eating and still function.
