My husband put an oblong white pill in my drink. On the pill was the word Watson 387. I did not ingest it all but I did have a strange reaction, got very tired and lifeless after 2 sips of it. 387 watson on one side and ip466 on the other side ## These are two different medications made by two different companies, so you wouldn't find both imprints on the opposite sides of the same tablet. Watson 387 contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 750mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Vicodin, which is a narcotic pain reliever. The IP 466 is manufactured by Amneal, formerly Intrapharm and contains 800mgs of Ibuprofen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Due to the risks of liver damage or failure associated with long-term use of high doses of Acetaminophen, as well as the dangers of overdose toxicity, these combination prescription products with the higher amount of Acetaminophen will no longer be available after January of 2014. Is the Watson 387 oval shape white pill the same as a Percocet? ## Watson 387 is a combination of Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone bitartrate (750 mg - 7.5 mg). Percocet is a combination of Acetaminophen + Oxycodone hydrochloride. They are both used to treat moderate to severe pain. As I am not an MD I can only guess that the difference is minimal. Vicodin ES ## Hello, The generic for any Vicodin would be a combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. I have found a generic Vicodin from Watson laboratories that contains (750 mg) of Acetaminophen and (7.5 mg) of Hydrocodone-just like the Vicodin ES. It is a white elliptical/oval pill with the imprint WATSON 387 on the front and a score/line on the back. Also- Just in case you're not aware- if a medication is in generic form, it is permitted by the FDA to be allowed to contain as much as 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient. There may be 1 pill with 100% of the active ingredient, but the rest may be a lot weaker. Second, due to copyright reasons, I cannot post a picture, but I can confirm that this is a generic for Lortab, it contains 750mgs of Acetaminophen and 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone.
