I HAVE OA AND need both knees and right hip replaced, I also have bone infarcts in both legs and in 2003 had a car accident that broke my neck c5,c6 &c7 along with damaging L5 -S1 disc herniation effacing the right S1 nerve root. my sciatic nerve is pinched and the pain is indescribable. I tore my ACL,PCL & MCL in my left knee in 2008 and had surgery to repair it. in October of 2013 I tore my PCL,MCL,ACL & LCL in my right knee the doctors did not repair any of this.i was on 1 - 2 10- 325 oxycodone acetaminophen every 6 hours for approximately 3 years and it did a decent job controlling my pain and all of a sudden in the beginning of November my doctor cut my dose in half without telling me why.. unfortunately it wasn't making my pain tolerable and when I asked her why sh......

Generally, it's a fairly short one, since it is a narcotic, but I'm not sure of the precise time limit. Have you asked your pharmacist? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone else know? ## Oxycodone in a regular formula lasts around 4 hours. I had a total knee replacement done last Monday. When released on Thursday, I was prescribed with Oxycodone Acetaminophen 5 325 as a pain killer in time of need. I needed a little yesterday--I really haven't had that much pain before, even in the hospital, but I guess I pushed myself a little too much, so I took one of my capsules. I awoke in the night because the pain I was feeling was 10 times worse than anything I'd been through since surgery. I took another and the pain increased. What would cause this? I have used only three of the fifty prescribed, so I don't think I could be already addicted. I'm a 59 yar old female, with a moderate HBP and diabetes, both more or less controlled. I need to know about this medicine. I have been taking Oxycodone-APAP 7.5/325 mg (Mallin). Last month the pharmacy changed my brand to Endocet 7.5/325. Does not work as well. Still have pain with the same doseage. I only take 2 a day. Now this month I recieved from the same parmacy 7.5/325 Oxycodon-Acetaminopen (Alvoge). Now I think it has caused me to have heart palpatations and some breathing difficulty. I also caused me to have a headache. My head feels thick in the back. Now all these meds are supposed to be the same but I beg to differ with them. I really dont like taking them but I want something to take the pain away not kill me. I stil have pain with all this. What does the oxycodone-acetaminophe 7.5-325 tab manufactured by alvogen look like? The one I have is round and peach in color. I'm on pain management for 3 bulging now possibly herniated discs(I have to get a new MRI and EMG This week) and a knee falling apart from botched surgery. My husband went to the two pharmacies CVS and Rite Aid we use to get my medication. Both said they won't have any for a couple weeks...we just talked to another one and they don't have it either and don't know when they will get it again....what the ever loving f**k is going on! I would like to know if aspirin is in oxycodone. My husband has back pain and I have oxycodone/acetaminophen5-325 I use for arthritic pain. He is allergic to aspirin. So just to reiterate, there is no Aspirin in Oxycodone. Oxycodone is quite simply Oxycodone by itself.... Would 50 of these 5-325 be fatal to a person? Would that be a fast peaceful way to go? ## Possible fatal outcome. Imminent damage to the stomach lining, resulting in chronic gastrointestinal pain, often agonizing. You could severely damage your digestive system, fry your kidneys and you may end up on a colostomy bag. How do I know this? I tried it. I was taking hydrocodon 10-325 and now my dr switched me to Percocet 10-325 and when I take it it puts me to sleep for hours and keeps me drowsy all day is this what it is suppose to do when my other hydrocodone didn't do this to me I was able to stay active and alert and do my daily duties. ## Hello, Ricky!
