As other name brands don't seem to be effective, can you tell me how to find the margin of error? ## Are you referring to the allowable different in the amount of active ingredients for generic medications? If so, that information is not required to be made available publicly, so it isn't. The company simply has to prove to the FDA that it isn't any more or less than the 20% that allowed. I am looking for Watson 10/325 Percocet and they no longer make them. What about Mylan brand? Has anyone had those- also Amneal is another generic. Help!!! ## My wife takes the 10/325 and has preferred the Watson also. Mylan worked well for her but we can't find anyone near us that carries Mylan. Well i dont like it. I know i will not use walgreens anymore for my vicotin this med. Does the pill have a slow release coating? If so it will take effect at a slower rate but lasts longer and the effects will be much weaker. It was very interesting to read all of the complaints about the different brands of percoset and their effectiveness. Watson was the only brand that helped me. It was a sad day when Actavis took them over and stopped producing their percoset. I even called the company and complained. I have the same issue with Fentanyl patch brands. I had been taking 5/325 generic Watson percocet for 4 years. Suddenly I get notified by Walgreens which I have insurance that there is no more Watson brand and I was given generic percocet 5/325 by Actavis. It is not the same at all. It has no pain relief for me. I used to break the watsons in half sometimes and never had a funny taste. For years I have been taking Watson brand Percocet 10/325 6 tablets daily. A few months ago I went to fill the prescription and was given Endocet by Endo Pharm. and told it was a generic they had, so I agree to take it. Then last month when I went to get the same script filled I was given Oxycodone/Acet by Actavis and told it is the generic brand but the company bought out Watson and that is why Watson is no longer available. That way you can also formulate your own valid opinion. ive been on watson oxy/apap 10/325 for years, and they have always worked wonderfully. last month it was changed to actavis and it feels as if i'm taking HALF THE DOSE! it's HORRIBLE, and not only does it NOT work, it looks just like a tylenol or a norco; white and oblong. my sweet walgreens pharmacist called EVERY pharmacy in my town asking if they carry any watson brand percocet and they have ALL HAVE BEEN REPLACED by this crap brand. i've tried endocet, which is even worse... so now i'm on the hunt to search the town over for any remaining watson. my straight oxy has been changed to KVK brand, and it's nothing like watson, but it isn't completely worthless. i'm so glad i came on here because i really thought it was just me. i thought 'how could i possi...

Man I had four different genetic brands. Now taking alvogen 10 325. Percocet 10. man no wonder there so many people killing themselves. everyones genetic med r different. Here are a couple of examples that are generics, in the dosage you asked about: Round, white, 512 on one side and a score line on the opposite side. I I have always used the white oblong 10 perc and now I'm taking the 10 but it's a round pill and it is not as strong, I feel as if I'm taking tylenol3. I have 3 herniated disc in my lower back and severe nerve damage down my leg. I've been on Oxycodone 10/325 for the past 4 years. I used to take Watson percocet 10/325, until it was bought over by Activis. I have since been on Malinkridot (sp); which is not as effective, but ok. Now all of a sudden Ive been told that the only generic they will use/order is by Rhodes....
