Watson 853 White Pill
I have always taken the Watson 853 yellow pill, for some reason i was just dive Watson 853 white pills. What is going on ? Why the color difference ?? ## It seems from other posts made on here recently that Watson is just removing the dyes from some of their products. There have been some complaints from people that have had sensitivity or allergic reactions to them, so they have been doing away with them. Learn more Norco details here. However, as long as the imprint is the same and your pharmacy has listed it as being the same medication and the same dosage, then you shouldn't have any reason to worry. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Not the same for sure! ## I have experienced poor results with the white pills. If they are different and labelled the same then walgre... ...

White Pill Watson 853
No worries people, the yellow 853 are exactly the same as the white one's, JUST NO DYE ## For anyone else wondering, I can also confirm that "dye" is the only thing separating these two pills. According to nih.gov, the 10 mg/325 mg and 10 mg/750 mg tablets include "D&C Yellow #10 Aluminum Lake" You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone I hope this helps! ## Well, jbone & David, I can't see why so many, myself included, have had such ad reactions to the white Watsons. I don't take narcotics often but I did for 11 years. I have never had this type of problem with hydrocodone as I did last week! It didn't touch my pain at all and it made me very sick! Something is going on with them, most definitely! ## There is s... ...

white norco pill watson 853
I have been on Norco for years . I have used it in conjunction with Roxicodode with great sucess. Now that I have switched to the white version I am having serious problems controling my pain. I don't believe they just removed the dye. This white Norco has become a placebo falling far short of the results I once had. Now I am in scramble mode to find a replacement for the old yellow Norco. Walgreens has told me they have had several calls with other pain patients suffering from the new White Norco. Obviously Watson drug has altered the Norco to increase profits at the patients expense. How surprising. I will update fellow sufferers of the new bad White Norco with an alternative as soon as my Pain Clinic can finda replacement. Larry.T ## PLEASE let me know if u find anything , i have... ...

White Watson 853
So recently I received a white Watson 853 that looks identical to the yellow ones; size, shape, imprint. Everything checks out except it does not feel as strong as the yellow. I was then told that Watson is not manufacturing yellow ones anymore so I checked the Watson/actavis website. They had no info on white 853. Are these fake? ## Hi Michael, Where a bouts did you get the pill from? If you didn't purchase it from an authorized seller, you could most definitely have a counterfeit. The only other thing I can think of, is that it may just be an old version that is no longer on the market. I believe Actavis pharmaceuticals now owns Watson pharmaceuticals so here is a link to the contact page of Actavis Pharma's website if you'd like to ask them about the pill you have: actavi... ...

watson 853 white oblong pill
Found this pill with Watson 853 on it. This was broken in half on the floor, the person is pregnant and has a toddler in the house. Could she be taking this pregnant??? She said her grandmother must have dropped??? Worried ## What reason do you have to not believe her? This tablet contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. No, it shouldn't be taken while pregnant, but she may have been telling you the truth. Perhaps her grandmother just needs to be more careful, when visiting. ...

Watson 853 White or Yellow Pill
I've been taking the Watson 853 yellow hydro /acetaminophen for several years. I get them from a well known pharmacy company. My most recent script was filled and I noticed the color was white, even though the markings of Watson 853 are identical to the light yellow pill. There was a huge difference in side effects with the new pill; constipation, dry mouth, and a little nasal congestion that I typically get from preservatives like sulfites. Many people get these symptoms when taking narcotics, but I have been fortunate with the hydrocodone as it has never affected me that way (oxycodone does however) I called the pharmacist and he said he couldn't get the yellow tabs anymore but wouldn't say one way or the other whether the formulation or fillers in the white pill differ fr... ...

watson 853 white pill real changes
There is a diff between yellow and white pills. Been taking yellows now for eight years or so. I was switched to the white ones about six months ago, and let me tell you its been a nightmare. pain is still present just a little weaker. Only last for 2-3 hours unlike the 5-6 hrs on yellows nausea 24/7 have to eat when taking them or I throw up. itchy everywhere cant sleep, extreme dry mouth, constipation much more frequent. Finally a bad buzzing in my head that wont go away. So YES there is something that was switched not the dye only. But I did read somewhere that Activis will lower hydro amt until sales increase then they will fill all ten mgs back into pill. Ok I see what there doing there making you addicted by lowering content so you need and buy more the after being hooked they res... ...

PRICE @ IS IT white norco pill watson 853
THE 853 NORCO DOES NOT HELP MY PAIN AS WELL AS THE YELLOW TINTED ONES. PLUS THEY UPED THE PRICE DOUBLE. ## I used CVS for my prescriptions until last month, when I tried Walgreens to fill my script for Norco 10/325. When I saw they were white instead of yellow I thought I was given the 5/500 strength in error, since I knew those are white. I called Walgreens and was assured these Watson 853's were the exact same ingredients as the Norco 10/325. After taking my usual dosage, I was shocked to feel almost no relief....maybe 10% relief. After this happened, i went on the internet and read about others who had the same bad experience. Today when I got my new script I went back to Walgreens and told the pharmacy I wanted the other generic, NOT the Watson 853. They said that's the only... ...

White Watson 10mg 325 #853
I just recieved a new prescription of norco 853 10/325. The last script was yellow and the new ones are white. The pharmacist said that Watson changed the color but the pill is the same, does anyone know if this is accurate ## Watson has change a few different medications and the colors are different. But the Norco you're referring to is the same medication that you were prescribed prior. It is just as effective as the script you had filled before this one and it's a good thing that you ask the pharmacist, the pharmacist is correct. ## LuLu is correct and so was your pharmacist. There have been several posts on here recently about various Watson tablets being white now. It seems that some people were sensitive or allergic to the dyes they were using, thus they decided to do away... ...

I have taken both and let me say that there is nothing different in the white Watson's vs the yellow ones except the yellow dye. Weak watson 853
White Watson 853 not near as strong as the yellow ones. WTF has changed. I know I used to be about 5-6 a day of yellows everyday. Now with the whites, I can take 10-15?? You tell me their the same?? Bull... I couldn't take that many of the yellows if I wanted to. If I had to guess, coming from someone that took these everyday, is that the white ones are like half the strength as the yellow ones. No way they are the same. Don't care what the box says. Try them and you will see. Government I'm sure controlling meds, just like turning the good, helpful OCs into completely useless OPs. ## Hello, Eight8! How are you? I'm sorry that you're having a problem. However, I can't really check this out for just based on the colors. Are you sure that the dosage is the same? ##... ...

White Watson 853 smaller with bluish tint
My latest Watson 853s are slightly smaller, the score line a tad thinner & the color isn't as white. It looks like it's not as shiny, maybe less coating, & the color has kind of a bluish tint to the white. I had a few of my old ones to compare them to, otherwise I might not have noticed. I read on other boards that Watson had been bought by Actavis & didn't know if this was their version of the Watsons. Has anyone else noticed this? ...

White Watson 853 Definately Less Effective
There is something very wrong with the white Watsons besides being less affective ,I get headaches sleeplessness, irritability, and dry mouth, the only thing I know is that actual Watson company pharmaceutical sold to Activis which another pharmaceutical company. this is not the same pill. Waldgreens gave me these without telling me of the change after getting home I went to take one and found out they were white, I called waldgreens and was told they are exactly the same. I tested this pill for 10 days now and I still have the same negative reaction. If I cant get them to switch the remaining ones with the V script imprint I will be taking my business back to CVS ## They are supposed to have only removed the dye from them, but there have been many complaints similar to yours. And unfor... ...

Generic Watson 853
Did they change this medication from yellow to white? The pharmacy says yes but they don't seem to work the same as the yellow. Watson 853 generic hydrocodone and are causing strange stomach ache. I think I should report this to watson. Just wondering if any one else has had this experience with the change ## Yes, they have been removing the dye from many of their tablets, due to some people being allergic or sensitive to them.
