Hello - I got my prescription refilled for Norco 539's, but I have always had the 853's with Watson on them. Some key differencws are the new ones are very chalky and can be broken easily while the 853's are much harder and break with a snap not a crumble. Also it's easy to scratch the norco 539 off of the face. Please let me know if anyone one has any experience with these and if they could be bad? Thanks ## How soft and crumbly a pill is depends on the inactive ingredients that the manufacturer has chosen to use. The FDA has a list of inactives which are classified under: generally considered as safe, and manufacturers can use whichever they wish from that list. These are ingredients that are considered safe for human consumption and to not have an effect on the effica...

they expired 2 years ago, can they still be taken? ## Hi Christeen, There's actually a lot of conflicting information around the topic of expired medication, but according to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. This conclusion was based upon a study conducted at the request of the US military due to stockpiles of expensive drugs they could otherwise need to replace every few years. The conclusion was that 90% of those drugs remained effective 10 - 15 years after the expiration date. But the question is whether or not the drug you have happens to be one of these drugs from the study... (I have not seen the list of drugs use...

Am having knee replacements soon, had RNY so can't take any anti-inflammatories. Have been taking 1/2 of a 5-325 for pain made by Qualitest & have a V on one side & 3604 on other. Tablets are scored so can break easily. No problem with stomach. Latest Rx are same color but say Watson on one side and 3202 on other side and, though they are scored to break in half, are really hard to break..sometimes breaking into several pieces. Also, have had ulcer and stomach really burns, especially when I break the tablet into two parts. Could it be the fillers? ## Yes, there could be a filler that's causing more stomach acid. Have you talked to your doctor about possibly taking them with an antacid? As to breaking them, it would be much easier if you got a pill cutter, they are avail...

which helps more watson hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325 compared to qualtest hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325??? ## To me the Watson is so much better the other I believe is a generic as they come I may be wrong but many other people agree with me! ## Watson! Qualitest was okay but Watso was always best for me.. Dr Reddy gave me bad effects, I won't touch that brand. ## Something to take into considering when making these kinds of comparisons is that each individual is prone to respond differently (due to many potential factors... such as body chemistry, age, weight, tolerance, metabolism, to name a few). So even if we had 1000 reviews in favor of Watson to go off of, this still only accounts a small percentage of patients out of millions perhaps who may or may not necessarily feel t...

it is vital that we get the weights of these ingredients in a watson lortab 10mg. it has to do with a legal debate over different weights in different brand names ## Usually, the physical weight isn't available for any particular medication, because the dosage is, so I have no details on this. You may wish to contact the manufacturer, Watson Pharmaceuticals and ask them to provide you with this information. I've never seen one thats white? ## Hello, Ace! How are you? Sorry about the confusion, I'm happy to clear this up for you. Norco is manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals and they have been removing the dye from all of their products, due to the fact that some people were sensitive or allergic to them. Over the past few months, they've all been slowly changing to white tablets. Is there anything else I can help with? ## As congress did whatever they did 4 months ago, after many years of difficult pain management, a regimen that was productive at least as being independent, then generic 10/325 already with side effect issues from other pain medicine.
