very small, light blueish, almost white, says 176 on one side and WATSON on the other. what pill is this? ## I checked a handful of U.S. drug databases and nothing comes up under this description. Could you please double check the marking of the medication? If this is not manufactured in the U.S, finding information on it can be very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. Please post back if you have any other questions, comments, or information to add so I can help locate this pill.

I recently was thrown from my horse and have pretty bad pain. My tailbone was broken in three places. I no longer have a script for pain but a friend of mine gave me a couple of pain pills that are different. One says Watson 853 on it and the other looks the same (oblong white) but it has #176 on it. What is the difference? ## Hi Priscilla, I would just like to inform you that not only do you take on a huge risk by taking medication that may not work for you there are federal and state laws that make sharing prescribed medication illegal. I would strongly advise not taking any more medication given to you by anyone. Here is some information on the pills you mentioned. The pills labeled Watson 853 and 176 both contain the active ingredients Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone (325 mg/ 10mg) bu...

Is the norco 10/325 176 made by Sun Pharmaceuticals stronger than the norco 10/325 Watson brand? I was taking Watson and they gave me 176. ## Hello, Debbie! How are you? While there can be differences between generic medications, as permitted by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, what it really comes down to is what works for you. Have you tried taking this one, yet? If so, has it been helping you? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## In my opinion, the Watson brand works so much better than the one imprinted with 176. I've taken both and much prefer the Watsons. ## I finally found a Norco 10/325 that works by Sun manuf. I used to take Watson brand but th...

Are they just like norco's? ## Hi, Mustie! How are you? Yes, these tablets contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Norco. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Norco details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## my advice to anyone taking hydrocodone is to also ask your doctor for a script of ultram. I have taken these two for over a year. Although I have only found one generic that is as effective(white watsons). Even with them the ultram makes the pain relief last longer. I get the 10's and I split them in half and take a whole 10 ultram. I get 100 hydrocodone and 90 ultram. I have a herniated disc...

I just got these this month. I had been taking the Watson 503. Which were 10/650's. These are 10/325. I've only been taking these for a couple of days and have taken the yellow Watson before. These are not as good. they are not as potent nor do they last as long. I was hoping that they would be more effective but they aren't. its not in my head. Watson by far makes the best generic Lortab. ## Hello, Joshintn! How are you? Sorry about the problem that you're having. With less Acetaminophen in them, it is only normal that you would notice a difference and find them to not be as effective. The Acetaminophen potentiates the action of the narcotic, so when there is more in them, it is more effective. Lortab, however, is no longer available. All of these combination prescripti...

PHOTO OF NORCO10-325MG TAB ## Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. That said, since there are also generics on the market, I cannot possibly post pictures of all of the available tablets with this dosage, there are many different companies that make it and each must have a unique imprint to enable its identification. Some imprints with this dosing include: A 328, a white, oblong tablet IP 110, white, oblong 176, white, oval M 367, white, oblong V 3601, yellow, oblong RX 497, white, round NORCO 539, yellow, oblong WATSON 853, yellow, oblong And this just includes the ones I could find. When you break a norco in half is it difficult? And is it possibly fake if it ends up breaking too easily? ## Hello, Warren! How are you? I've always known them to break easily and never had to use a pill cutter, but I suppose it can vary from manufacturer to manufacture. Can anyone else chime in? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I just broke a norco in half and it was kind of easy. Is it fake? ## My bf has 176 pills and they break easily in half. they look real but after he took 2 in the morning and 1 more in the afternoon he said he felt nothing like a m367 pill or Watson?
