Is there a over the counter med that looks like a yellow watson 10/325 norco? ## To my knowledge there aren't any OTC medications that look similar, as this particular yellow Norco pill is unique to Watson. If there's any pills that come remotely close, I'd imagine them to be Mucinex DM or Guaifenesin + pseudoephedrine tablets. Do you have any reason to believe you may have received a fake pill from someone? ## No, I want my girl friend off norcos.I think its all in her head.I want something that wont hurt her like a vitiman. After a couple of weeks tell her I switched them and prove its only in her head. Placebo effect. Thanks ## I will begin by stating that regardless of your intentions, it is morally, and legally wrong to willfully switch a persons medication especially th...

I took a couple from my new prescription yesterday, and let me tell you, they ARE NOT THE SAME. It felt like I had taken Xanax or Valium. Not the same feeling as Norco's... They made me sick after taking just two... I never throw up on regular pain pills. I do however, always throw up when I take benzo's... What's the deal with that. Of course I can't go to my doctor and ask him for a refill a week after I got this one. Plus it does nothing for my pain what so ever. I guess they changed it up to be less habit forming. I don't know... I just hope I got a bad batch or something because I will be taking these to the doctor to complain. ## It seems to me that an ever growing number of people are having similar issues with these newer white Watson pills. You can see the g...

plese send me a picture of this pill Ineed to varify that I have the right pill. ## I don't have a picture to post for you, due to copyright reasons. However, it should be a pale yellow, elliptical/oval shaped with a score line on one side and the imprint of WATSON over 853 on the other side. It contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone, the active ingredients in Vicodin, which is a narcotic pain reliever. Learn more: Does that match the pill in question? ## Is there a Watson 853. But white color ## Yes there is,watson removed the yellow dye.

is 10 mgs/325 stronger than 5mg/325 ? ## absoluteltly ## 10 MG HYDROCODONE IS TWICE THE STRENGTH OF 5 MG ## I am taking norco 853 (watson) white. I am seeing a Pain Management Dr. Neurodiagnostic center. Had two EMG's on neck and back. I was prescribed one TID. Can not go 8 hours before I take another. Still in pain reqardless. What is the least time between taking my meds, ## Norco 853 is 10 mg Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 325 mg. It can be taken every 4-6 hrs. ## My goodness 10 mg twice as strong as 5 mg I didn't know that

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I am looking for direct help or guidance to procure Norco 10/325. I have been getting nowhere and my medical records only stretch back two months, so I am having difficulty getting a prescription. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. ## The biggest problem you are having may be due to the fact that you are trying to obtain a specific medication, along with questions as to why your medical records only go back 2 months. Most doctors will look at those two factors and immediately find them suspicious, as they are commonly the signs of a drug seeker. Don't you have an established regular doctor? ## I have a family practice doctor, but I have not been to her in a while. It makes sense that it would look suspicious. Do you have any other advice r...

I just recieved a new prescription of norco 853 10/325. The last script was yellow and the new ones are white. The pharmacist said that Watson changed the color but the pill is the same, does anyone know if this is accurate? ## Watson has change a few different medications and the colors are different. But the Norco you're referring to is the same medication that you were prescribed prior. It is just as effective as the script you had filled before this one and it's a good thing that you ask the pharmacist, the pharmacist is correct. ## LuLu is correct and so was your pharmacist. There have been several posts on here recently about various Watson tablets being white now. It seems that some people were sensitive or allergic to the dyes they were using, thus they decided to do awa...

Please tell me if watson has a white 10/325?? I only had the yellow one's.. Are they real? ## Actually, Watson has recently been removing the dye from many of their tablets, due to people being allergic or sensitive to them. Thus, several of their products are now white. However, if you received it from an approved U.S. pharmacy and it has the same markings, then it is still the correct medication. Learn more Lortab details here. You should be aware, however, that there have also been reports from some that they don't seem to work the same and aren't as effective. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes they are white now. I just had to call the pharmacy to make sure I was given the right prescription. ## JG are they working fine for you? I have my white now, and I do...

I have been taking Hydrocodon-APAP 10-325 2 PILLS EVERY 4 HOURS 3 to 4 times a day for 15 years. My problem is the last few prescriptions I've received have not done much to help with the pain. The last few prescriptions are Watson 853 tablets. I have taken as many as 4 to 4 & 1/2 pills within an hour & a half & it was like I was taking nothing!! I have heard that sometimes the medicine is replaced with a placebo or that the Government is cutting down the ingredient that actually give fast pain relief. Is there any truth to this or what is the problem? ## Nok that is not true, if you receive them from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, everything they dispense must meet the same FDA efficacy standards. It is warned that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and ...

hydrocodone is all the same. "Vicoprofen" is superior for dental pain ## Hi Kim, I'm not sure what the basis of your post is in so far as saying that "hydrocodone is all the same"? But the idea of adding Ibuprofen to the mix instead of the standard Acetaminophen/Tylenol doesn't seem to measure out a significant difference in my opinion, since they are both NSAID's. Vicoprofen may be good for pain for one person, but not necessarily another since everyone tends to respond differently. However each drug still comes with an understanding that undesirable and potentially fatal side effects such as liver or kidney damage, stomach bleeding, etc, has been reported to happen. So even if one does yield better results, the risk factors of using either one long term are...

I got a prescription for generic norco and it has watson 853 imprinted on it. I was wondering if I am getting the correct medication or if I am being ripped off at this pharmacy? It is yellow. ## white round ww 2410 ## What is a round, off white or very light yellow pill with M 89 imprinted on it? ## Watson 853 is indeed a generic for Norco. It contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. No listing for WW 2410, sorry. M 89 is Meloxicam 15mgs, a generic for Mobic. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. ## Is watson 853 indeed 10mg hydrocodone with 325 mg of tylenol? ## Is an oval small red pill with the markings KALI 083 a norco? ## Ron, KALI 083 is Acetaminophen 325 mg + Tramadol 37.5 mg, which is generic for Ultracet. ## Watson 853 - Yes, generic Norco...I have been getting it for a few...

black and yellow capsule ## Macrodantin (Nitrofur Mac 50 mg)50 mg was prescribed by my urologist. My last presription given by the pharmacy was red and white. This pill is yellow and black with Watson 3250 inscribed on it. Was I dispensed the wrong dosage by the pharmacy this time? ## Yes, you did receive a different dosage, the one marked Watson 3250 is a 100mg capsule, not 50mg. If you are supposed to be on 50mgs, then you need to take that prescription back to your pharmacy and inform them of the error so they can provide you with the correct dosage.

Since Actavis acquired Watson I have experienced GI issues, headaches, and nausea from the 10/325 Oxycodone that is now replacing the Watson brand. I can NOT believe that the FDA would allow this replacement when the effectiveness is so very extreme. Something needs to be done. ## Mad310, about your 10/325 oxycodone/acetaminophnen (tylenol), first, I am not a doctor and please don't take this as advice from a doctor. It's more like a book report from stuff I've read. I'll just mention that any of these "opiates" (the entire class of meds that come from the opium plant, hence the name) have the effect of slowing down the digestive tract. Different people have told me the effects vary according to the opiate (oxycodone didn't stop things up as much as hydrocodo...

Are they still making the round white Watson 10-325? After being on them for yrs for pain for my back all of a sudden the pharmacy changes to another that's A333. Not working nearly as well. But was also told that Watson was bought out. Unfortunately I'm one of those people that can't cant generics, & have the perfect formula for my medication til they just threw a wrench in it. Now I'm lost & not sure where to go or what 2 do. Any advise? ## No, that generic is also not being manufactured. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The best suggestion I can make is that you speak to your doctor about trying an alternative medication. Does...

What Is Better: Watson Lorcet 10 Or Norco10/325 - And What's The Difference? ## If the dosage is the same, then the only difference is who has manufactured it. Both contain Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, the Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain reliever. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Are there any other questions? ## my doctor had me on lorcet 10/650 and change to lorcet 10/325 what's the different are they the same?I had three back surgery ## The only difference is the amount of acetaminophen contained in each pill. The 10/650 dose contains 650 mg's of acetaminophen and the 10/325 dose contains, you guessed it, 325 mg's. He had to switch because the FDA does not allow doses of acetaminophen over 500 mg's per pill, in any pill, w...

Please tell me if there is an EXACT replacement for the Watson 392 generic for Percocet. I know Watson has purchased Actavis. I have been taking the Watson 392 for years and the substitute does not help me at all. I take in combination with Fentanyl. Are there other companies that make the "Watson 392" configuration under a different number and name??? I have contacted Actavis several times to see if they have an exact replacement and they have not replied to any of my e-mail. CVS has substituted a Actavis that is supposed to be the same and it isn't. It does not work for me. The number is A333. Is their a difference between the two? ## I hace severe/chronic sciatica and the doctor has been proscribing Vicodin/hydrocodone for years......2 at a time and some days, as much as 4 doses. Recently he cut the tylenol portion so that it would be safer for my liver than the previous 10/660 and 10/500 tablets. Accordingly, he prescribed small amounts of Percocets (10/325 E712) and Hydrodone Norco (10/325) so that I could decide which worked better for me. My initial reaction was that 2 of the percocet compared to 2 of the hydro manifested mainly in drowsiness. I found the hydro to be a bit more effective for pain management and I was able to function, feeling good, whereas the Percocet only made me want to sleep, groggy and a bit out of sorts while still feeling a good amount of pain: Qu...

The magnesium sterate is it plant based or pork ? ## Where can I find Hydroocodone made by Watson in Atlanta GA. Is Watson still manufacturing them since they lowered the Tylenol dosage? ## @Peggy, Based on my research, Watson doesn't appear to list these types of details on their webpage. However, what I am finding is that most drug manufacturers who do use Magnesium stearate as a filler in their tablets, also derive/source it from beef. If you have any reservations about this, it may be best to talk with your doctor or pharmacist about any allergies you might have to certain types of animal products. This way problems like that can be avoided in subsequent prescriptions. For additional product information you can also reach the manufacturer directly at: +1 (800) 272-5525 @Rebecca,...
