I just recieved a new prescription of norco 853 10/325. The last script was yellow and the new ones are white. The pharmacist said that Watson changed the color but the pill is the same, does anyone know if this is accurate? ## Watson has change a few different medications and the colors are different. But the Norco you're referring to is the same medication that you were prescribed prior. Watson 10/325 yellow Norco has worked for 13 years - the white tablets I fillled are not helping WHATSOEVER. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, carpet tunnel in both wrists,3 herniated discs, 2 bulging discs and 3 fuses discs in my neck among a few problems. This is horrible - between this & the Qualitest bad pills that made me sick last month along with NO pain relief my Dr. is saying he is going out on a limb for me - no one is going out on a limb - we are simply standing up and stating obvious fraudulent pills being sold as pain relief when there is NONE. I took a couple from my new prescription yesterday, and let me tell you, they ARE NOT THE SAME. It felt like I had taken Xanax or Valium. Not the same feeling as Norco's... They made me sick after taking just two... I never throw up on regular pain pills. I do however, always throw up when I take benzo's... What's the deal with that. Of course I can't go to my doctor and ask him for a refill a week after I got this one. Plus it does nothing for my pain what so ever. I guess they changed it up to be less habit forming. I don't know... No worries people, the yellow 853 are exactly the same as the white one's, JUST NO DYE ## For anyone else wondering, I can also confirm that "dye" is the only thing separating these two pills. Ha, whoever said Mallinckrodt is better than Qualitest is badly mistaken....The 10mg/325 Norcos by Qualitest are some of the best going....Mallies give people headaches.....I'd give about .50 cents for a 5mg one..... ## The differences people are noticing across one manufacturer to another vary based on so many different factors (i.e. tolerance, age, weight, metabolism, digestive health, mentality, body chemistry, etc) that there is virtually no way to disprove someone's own reasoning / opinion as to why they feel the way they do about one tablet working better or worse than the other. I've got the white Watson 853's. I also feel less pain relief from them. I also have mild signs of withdrawal moderate head ache, nervousness and shaking. If indeed they were 10/325 they'd at least care of a head ache. Right? Not having the oringinal prescription I can't read the micro print to see if they're a placebo. Doctors do prescribe placebos to see if you're in pain or not. I fact I can could spend hours telling you what kind of games/tricks that doctors will play. I know because I've been treated for chronic pain since 1996. Some doctor are worse than others. But, it always comes down to them not wanting their names appearing on a DEA agents desk. Hello all, I am a longtime chronic pain sufferer. I have taken opiates for pain for over 10 years. I recently got a prescription filled (from a well known pharmacy chain in the U.S.) and I was given these new Watson 853 white (not yellow) hydro 10/325 pills. I wanted to ask the forum here if any of you have had the same experience with them as I have. I know there are some very smart people with advanced chemistry knowledge here that may have delved deeper into whats going on with these things. They are ineffective for me. Are they real? ## Actually, Watson has recently been removing the dye from many of their tablets, due to people being allergic or sensitive to them. Thus, several of their products are now white.
