Hi I am basically looking for the original sudafed as I dont handle the sudafed PE and these are the ones that do the job for me. Also the generic brand equivalent to the sudafed original are also just as good. ## I had the same issue with the newer, version on the shelf. I ended up purchasing the Walgreens generic version of the original Sudafed after finding out the over the counter is not the same as the original. I get the 4hr red pill and it works fine. You have to ask the pharmacist for it as it is no longer on the shelf and you have to sign for it.

Our local Walgreens informed us that Sudafed or their brand Wal-phed could only be purchased if you had an active prescription acct (not for sudafed- just any active prescription) that had been filled within the previous 30 days. They don't accept our insurance, so we have prescriptions filled over at our local Walmart pharmacy. They wouldn't let us buy Sudafed at all because of this! The pharmacy manager told us this was a regional policy due to dirtbag methheads. Is this legal? ## Hello, David! How are you?
