The FDA lists this medication as being used to prevent blood clots and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, easy bruising an increased risk of bleeding. I have an oval shaped pill that has the number 169 on it but it was not in its original bottle what is it for ## I wasn't able to locate an exact match to your description, as you didn't mention what color the pill is that you are referring to. I did however find a pill marked "961" as opposed to "196" that is white and oval shaped. Is there any chance that you may have misread the marking?
