This tablet is manufactured by Dr. Reddy's Labs and they list it as containing 75mgs (base) of Clopidogrel. The FDA lists this medication as being used to prevent blood clots and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, easy bruising an increased risk of bleeding. I have an oval shaped pill that has the number 169 on it but it was not in its original bottle what is it for ## I wasn't able to locate an exact match to your description, as you didn't mention what color the pill is that you are referring to. I did however find a pill marked "961" as opposed to "196" that is white and oval shaped. Is there any chance that you may have misread the marking?
