Vyvanse To Treat Narcolepsy

I am wondering about trying Vyvance to treat narcolepsy. I currently take dextrostat 30 mg 3 times a day and since it is now generic dextrostat, it is absolutely not effective at all. Can I have feedback either on Vyvanse or any other drugs that you have found to be effective. I have Narcolepsy and have been taking various drugs (e.g. Adderall, Dexotrine, Vyvanse) for the condition for the past 8 years. I recently had stints inserted into two arteries (one was almost completely closed). My wife feels that I should not take any stimulant medications since being diagnosed with artery problems. She is also convenienced that stimulant drugs cause me to be quick to anger and also increase intensity of anger. I have been taking Vyvanse 50mg for about 1 1/2 yrs. Recently (2 days ago) I discovered I was pregnant. In researching online their are side effects of the unborn child. Need advice as far as weaning off the Rx all together. BLUE AND WHITE CAPSULE ## It's vyvance it's a methamphetamine salt used for adhd. I just took one ^^ ## The Vyvanse that I've found similar to this has the marking S489 and 70mg, it is manufactured by Shire U.S. and they list it as containing 70mgs of Lisdexamfetamine, which is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. It is a stimulant. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, anorexia, and irritability. However, I cannot find one that is blue and white. The one I mentioned is listed as being blue and orange. Is anyone else familiar with a blue and orange one?

My buddy takes vyvanse 30 mg in the morning and then he takes the d amphetamine salt combo 5 mg in the afternoon. What are the (main) differences in the two? ## They are different medications, but are both stimulants that treat the same conditions, such as ADHD and narcolepsy. Are these both prescribed for him? It's very unusual for a doctor to prescribe two different ones. My adult daughter is displaying increased agitation and anger since she is on Vyvance. She has been off it for 2 or 3 days and is feeling horrible. I do not think she ever had ADD or ADHD when the doc prescribed the med. I feel she has been displaying symptoms of ADHD - confusion, irritation, hyperactivity, impulsiveness, etc, since being on the Vyvance.
