I want solubility, degradation profile, stability, feasibility in dosage form ## I BEING A DIABETES INTEND TO START MEDICINE VOLIBO 0.3 MG KINDLY ADVISE ME ITS SIDE EFFECT & LONG TERM NEGATIVE EFFECT. IS THERE ANY SUBSTITUTE FOR THIS MEDICINE ## I,being Diabetic, taking 15 units of insulin once in the morning. Is it safe to take . 3 mg of Volibo with breakfast and lunch. Please advise.

volibo m 0.3 is to be taken once or twice daily? ## Hi shri, Based on my research, the usual adult dose for Volibo (voglibose) is 200 to 300 mcg 3 times a day on an empty stomach, 15-30 minutes before meals. Always be sure to follow the prescribing information that was given to you by your doctor or pharmacist. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor used for lowering post-prandial blood glucose levels in people with diabetes mellitus. Voglibose delays the absorption of glucose and thereby reduces the risk of macrovascular complications. Postprandial hyperglycemia (PPHG) is primarily due to first phase insulin secretion. I am a T 2 DM patient for last few years. The following medicines are taken for last few months. Amryl 1 OD, Volibo 0.3 TDS, Clopitab 75 ODPC, Gabantin 100 BD, Fibator 10 OD, Losar H OD , Losar A OD and Prazopress XL 2.5 OD. As my BP was observed as 160/70 on 4/10/12, Doctor changed the medicines for Hypertension instead of Losar A, and Losar H to Stamlo 10 and Prazopress XL 5.For last 3/4 days my anklet and feet are seen to be swelling. I am an Old Female Patient Age 81suffering from ILD (Interstices Lung Disease) and R.Arthritis. Having Predmet Since Last 4 Years With Varying Doses (16mg To 6mg) as per Doctors advise. Since last Six Weeks Dose of Predmet reduced to 4mg daily. In addition to General Weakness and Blood Sugar Disorder (which Is due to Predmet according to my Doctor), I am Suffering from Short Time Memory Loss during last 6 to 8 Months. Other Medicines taken are Ramistar5, Volibo03mg, Minipress XL5mg, Aztor20, Shelcal500 daily. Have BP 120/80 more Or less uniform Also Take Idrofos 150mg 1 Tab /month . I am a diabetic(type 2) since last 20 yrs. at present my dose of medicine is Glizid MR 60 morning and evening as well as Glycophage 1g morning and evening as well as .5g on lunch time. still the pp is coming high even the morning time it is low sugar ## I am taking VOLIBO M 0.2 morning and evening since last three months ,Still my suger fasting is 150 and pp is 197 kindly suggest suitable medition.

I am having sugar problem since 1997. I am feeling numbness in the fingures of my feet. My hand muscles are also getting waste. My sugar level with medicines remains between 200 to 250. I am taking Gemmer P2, VOlibo3 and ISAMET 60mg/1000mg twice a day before meals. My age is 62 plus. There was no body having sugar problem in my family. I am not using alcohal and a non smoker.
