volibo m 0.3 is to be taken once or twice daily? ## Hi shri, Based on my research, the usual adult dose for Volibo (voglibose) is 200 to 300 mcg 3 times a day on an empty stomach, 15-30 minutes before meals. Always be sure to follow the prescribing information that was given to you by your doctor or pharmacist. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor used for lowering post-prandial blood glucose levels in people with diabetes mellitus. There are only couple of manufacturers of this molecule. I am a diabetic for last 25 yrs. last 10 years I was taking tripride 2 before breakfast volivo .5 before lunch tripride 1 before dinner. but last few months sugar level was not coming down below 220. then new doctor prescribe tripride 2 before breakfast kombiglyze xr 5/500 before lunch and triazulix 2 before dinner. it works well. now problem is that my sugar level went below 72. I am a T 2 DM patient for last few years. The following medicines are taken for last few months. Amryl 1 OD, Volibo 0.3 TDS, Clopitab 75 ODPC, Gabantin 100 BD, Fibator 10 OD, Losar H OD , Losar A OD and Prazopress XL 2.5 OD. My jar of pills has an strong odor that smells as if fumes of what smells like a herbicide and it seems to be more so as the days go by. The pills have a volitile like oder. I had knee pain in April 2011 & could not walk,Used walker. Then consultged , Orthopaedic Doctor , who injected 4 Hyalgan injections in my left knee each after a month and prescribed Tab.
