metformin has to be taken after food while voglibose, before food, a few minutes earlier. When this be so, how can both be taken together with meals? Is it not a waste of drugs, ineffectiveness of dosage administered and, loading the body more than what will be strictly necessary? 2. would it not be better to take the same separately, for more effectiveness?

I would like to know whether I can take METFORMIN 1000MG, GLIMEPERIDE 2MG and VOGLIBOSE 0.2mg separately, because it will work out cheaper by almost 60% instead of the combination. (RS150-90). ## It should be okay to do so, as long as the dosages are the same, but it is always best to double check with your doctor to be sure. For diabetic treatment my dr asked me to take Glimepiride 2mg + Metformin 500mg (1-1), Voglibose 0.3 mg (1-1) & Pioglitazone 30mg + Metformin 500 mg (1-1). I am 56 year male diabetic sincr last 10 years.
