But when we get older we don't produce as much, which may be linked to various prostate problems... depending on the underlying cause of it. Diet plays an important role too. I do take oxycodone 5 mg every 12 hours and I take naproxen 440 mg every 8 hours. I have swelling of my feet ankles and lower legs, mostly on the left. The anti-inflamatory properties of the naproxen doesn't seem to help the swelling to reduce at all. What could be inhibiting this? I am also type 2 diabetic and take 1000 mg twice a day. I also mix turmeric and ginger into my herbal tea, at least once per day. I use about 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of those spices and 1 tbsp raw honey. ## Lisa, Has your doctor ever prescribed or recommended a diuretic like lasix ?
