There is a yellow capsule of vicodin, and I saw no mg on it. All other Vicodin I have seen are white. Any answers? ## First off, I would like to let you know that there is no 1000mgs of Vicodin on the market. Vicodin is available in a maximum dosage of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone and 750mgs of the Acetaminophen. Second, the color means nothing, that is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Third, they do not have to have the dosage on the tablet, just a unique imprint to enable its identification, in case of emergency. Thus, it is the imprint that tells us what it is. pink 3500 V ## This tablet supposedly contains 7.5mg Hydrocodone, but at this time I cannot verify it 100%. I'm going to see if there is any way to reach the company who also manufactures V 3600 (Qualitest Pharmaceuticals / formerly Vintage Pharmaceuticals) to see if V 3500 is in their product line. Also, is there any way that you could be misreading the 3500? It is known that a pink tablet with V on one side and 3600 on the other is a generic Vicodin containing Acetaminophen 500 mg + Hydrocodone 10 mg. Hope this helps!

Can I take Oramorph SR 60 mg if I am used to 100 mg of Vicodin a day? ## There are no 100mg tablet of Hydromorphone and Acetaminopen, if you were taking enough of them to equal that dosage, you have been putting yourself in severe danger of overdosing on the Acetaminophen. In that case, yes, you are probably better off and safer with the Oramorph SR. It contains no Acetaminophen and is time released. The side effect profile is the same as other narcotics, nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Vicodin ES ## Hello, The generic for any Vicodin would be a combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. I have found a generic Vicodin from Watson laboratories that contains (750 mg) of Acetaminophen and (7.5 mg) of Hydrocodone-just like the Vicodin ES. It is a white elliptical/oval pill with the imprint WATSON 387 on the front and a score/line on the back. Also- Just in case you're not aware- if a medication is in generic form, it is permitted by the FDA to be allowed to contain as much as 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient. There may be 1 pill with 100% of the active ingredient, but the rest may be a lot weaker. Ms. Verwon, Hi, This is jayjay124. Hope you are doing well. I have a question that needs to be answered about a certain strenght of Vicodin. Is there such a srenght as 1000mg. I have a co-worker that says that he was prescribed some a while back. I stated that I have never heard of such a strenght and that 1000mgs would be very hard on the liver and that I knew of someone that could give us an honest answer. My prescription says take 3 capsules by mouth daily as needed for nerve pain. Should I take all three at once or space them out thru the day?
