 Blood Vessels
The blood vessels are the part of the circulatory system that transports blood throughout the body. There are three major types of blood vessels: the arteries, which carry the blood away from the heart; the capillaries, which enable the actual exchange of water and chemicals between the blood and the tissues; and the veins, which carry blood from the capillaries back toward the heart. Amoxicillin popped blood vessel or vein
I got poked by a safety pin in my knuckle and it went into my finger pretty deep. I took it out and it immediately was swollen and blackish blue color. It looks like it punctured my vein or something or popped a blood vessel. I have a brand new prescription of amoxicillin, would this help or do you think this will just go away on its own? Also I'm 7 months pregnant, is amoxicillin safe to take with the baby? ## Amoxicillin is a class B drug which means it has been studied in animals to 10x what we give to people and no birth defects have been found. If you were breastfeeding, there would be some crossover as it is present in small amounts in breast milk, but it is one of the safest antibiotics for pregnant women on the market. ## However, it will not help with this type of issue. Am... ...

Also I'm 7 months pregnant, is amoxicillin safe to take with the baby? ## When you are pregnant, you should never take any medication, unless you have your doctor's approval. And no, this is an antibiotic that is only effective at treating bacterial infections, it will not do anything to treat an injury like this. Side effects to it may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

What is LCX non-dominant vessel with100% obstruction in the mid segment while LMCA, LAD,RCAbranches,PDA and PLV are Normal
My angiogram taken 6 months ago says LMCA :Left main is Normal LAD : LAD is a type III vessel with luminal irregularities wthout any critial Stenosis . Otherwise LAD diagonals and septal perforators are Normal . LCX : LCX is anamotically non-dominant vessel with 100% obstruction in the mid segment . RCA : RCA is anatomically dominant vessel . RCA branches, PDA and PLV are Normal. My cardilogist given me ECOSPRIN AV 75 singledose a day. Please tell me about my present Heart condition. ## It means it isn't a major blood vessel to affect the function of the heart, but that it does have a complete obstruction preventing blood from flowing through it. Ecosprin contains Aspirin, when given for these problems, it is used as a blood thinner, which in some cases can help the blood flow throu... ...

Daflon 500 Tablet
i have a swollen ankle and its discolored also a disclored patch on my foot i use alot of bleaching cream but nothing so i want to try doflon to work from the inside and see what happens because i use circulation tablets water tablets and nothing but i hav an appointment with the doctor the 9 of june and she have to tell me something ## Is your ankle swollen from recent injury or from chronic edema? If the discoloration is from broken blood vessels due to chronic venous insufficiency (CVI)), I don't think bleaching cream will work since it acts at the surface and does not penetrate. I have similar discoloration from CVI and it is just something you have to live with... you could also try finding a good wear-proof make-up foundation that matches the skin of your ankle if you want to ... ...

Extreme Side Effect
I took neurontin for approx 5 days - 100 mg for 2 days, 100 x 2 for 2 days and 100 x3 for 1 day. It was prescribed to me for post herpatic nerve pain related to shingles. In the middle of the night after my 5th day of medication, I woke to use to the bathroom. When I sat up in bed, I nearly fell over to the right side. After sitting for a while, I stood and walked, also staggering to the right side. I then had tingling and numbness in right arm, right side of face, lips. Went to ER and had CT Scan, MRI, echo, ekg, and neck vessel study, blood tests; and was admitted for observation. All tests negative. I thought I had a stroke. TIA cannot be 100% ruled-out, but I do not have any risk factors for stroke. I am 50 yrs old female, non-smoker, not overweight, have low -to-normal blood pressu... ...

Coveram Side Effects
Why is headache a side effect of Coveram10? Does it go in time if I keep taking Coveram? ## Coveram contains the active ingredients Perindopril and Amlodipine. And the very mechanism of action of these medications means they can cause headaches in some people, because they generally dilate the blood vessels to improve blood flow. And yes, such side effects should wear off in about 4 to 6 weeks, after your body adjusts to the medications. Have you spoken to your doctor about it? ...

Red lines from Prolea
I had the Prolea shot 2 months ago and aince then I have had red lined on my neck and red under my eyes and a few blotches on my face.No other places on my body. Can this be from the Prolea? The dermatologist doesn't think so, but nothing else changed except for the Prolea ## Hello, Sharon! How are you? If they aren't near the location it was administered, then they most likely aren't from it. What has your dermatologist suggested could be the cause? Have they offered any treatment options? What do you mean by lines, are they just streaks, or are they blood vessels that have become visible? ...

 Enalapril + Felodipine
Enalapril (marketed as Vasotec in the USA, Enaladex in some other countries, and Enacard for veterinary use[1]) is an angiotensin-converting-enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used in the treatment of hypertension, diabetic nephropathy, and some types of chronic heart failure. ACE converts the peptide hormone angiotensin I to angiotensin II. One of the actions of angiotensin II is the vasoconstriction of blood vessels resulting in an increase in blood pressure. ACE inhibitors such as enalapril prevent th...
