I have right renal artery stenosis and a mechanical aortic valve replacement. l would like to know if Verelan ER / PM is safer to take than Verapamil ER? Thank you so much for a reply. ## They are both the same thing, the Veralan is just a name brand for Verapamil. Thus, as to safety and the risk of side effects, the possible issues would be identical. Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor?

It has been used in the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, cardiac arrhythmia, and most recently, cluster headaches. This medication comes in the form of a pink capsule with white beads on the inside and the imprint Schwarz 4086. Maybe the imprints got rubbed off somehow? 1 REPLY Filed under Verapamilused for hypertention/ heart ## I am sorry, I can't find anything on this, are you sure you have to correct name? Is it a prescription drug or an OTC supplement or something?
1 REPLYI was prescribed with Verelan ER PM. What is the difference between it and Verelan ER? Verelan ER PM is not a preferred drug in my insurance plan so it has a higher cost than the ER without the PM.
