we are jain and not take any capsules of gelatin made by animal product can u pls tell that akt 4 capsule is made of animal gelatin or its a herbal gelatin ## hi i want to know that rowatinex is animal originated capsule or plant originated .as it is soft gelatine capsule ## I just want to understand for food supplements if the ingredients inside the Capsule are 100% veg but the covering of capsules is made up of Gelatin which is derived from an animal source, so it should have a Green dot or Red dot??? I got some capsules with the green dot but is made up of gelatin. So please guide me.

Hi, Is Daneuron , which consists of Vitamin B1, B6 B12 suitable for a vegetarian who does not take eggs, garlic, scallian ,leek achives and animal origin? ## Hi Aik, I believe that supplement should be suitable. However, I actually recommend patch/trans dermal or sublingual versions of supplements because they deliver more of the active ingredients straight into the blood stream- as opposed to getting digested. Also, be sure that the version of B-12 is Methylcobalamin and not Cyanocobalamin. Cyanocobalamin is actually the synthetically derived version of B -12 and is ineffective in some people who lack the enzyme that's needed to digest it. I am done with my hysterectomy at the age of 35, and am prescribed by my Dr to take the shelcal 500 mg supplement for life. As I am pure vegetarian I just wanted to know whether shelcal 500 is a vegetarian medicine? ## It is made of oyster shell, so we can't take it.

my B.P. is 160 /100 aged 42, 65kg. I was told to use ayurvedic medicine aswagandha and arjuna tablets 1 in morn and night. I am taking along with a homeopathy medicine which is 10 drops after food twice a day. will both these give good result over a month? 2 month back BP was 120/80. i had stress recently. now i am taking above medicines. Other than the active ingredient Ibuprofen, the name brand tablets are listed as containing: carnauba wax, colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, propylene glycol, titanium dioxide. The inactive ingredients can vary in the generics, from manufacturer to manufacturer, so that is only the list for the name brand product.

is keraglo forte tablets is vegetarian? which co. makes vegetarian tablets for b12 and d3 ? ## These are vitamin supplements, that are derived from our food sources, not directly from animals, at all. As to whatever inactive ingredients, you would have to check that with each individual company. Are you just worried about meat products? Or do you also stay away from dairy and such?
