I was taken the medicine Phenytion from 1995 to 1998 to control Seizure. After then the problem was totally stopped. But since December 2012 I felt electric like shock twice or thrice a day when I touch metalic object. I consulted Nurologist. He asked me for MRI of head (Contrast), but the report showed normal. However the doctor prescribed me Valparinchrono 500mg twice a day and NEURON 1500mcg also. Now I want to know its side effect and further suggestion.

I took valparin chrono 500mg + 800mg (morning + night) for 2 yrs. now EEG normal. Dr.advised to taper for 1 year with valparin (instead of valparin chrono).from 400+400+200mg. what is the difference between valparin and valparin chrono. Changed the tablets two days ago.
