I've been given a valium 2mg about two hours ago and I've asked to be weaned off hydrocodone (up to 12 per day). But the withdrawals are so horrible I'm wondering if I can take a 1/4 of a an 415 will I be ok? And I've eaten soup n fruit. ## Hello, Anna! How are you? I just got in the mail after I had two shipments of Valium that was Roache & they were blue. Yesterday I got a shipment from the UK & the Valium were pure white small with a line down the middle They say on the back of the blister pack that they are Diaze*10 That is it. Now I took 2 of these last night & did not feel anything so I took again this morning & still did not feel anything. I had taken a 5mg tablet of valium for my back pain yesterday morning which has been 36hrs ago. I want to know if it's safe or ok to have a few alcoholic drinks tonight? ## "A few" alcoholic drinks? That is like when the cop asks you how many beers you've had, you say "a few"... and the cop knows it's more like 8+. lol. Diazepam has a long half life so it will still be in your system 36 hrs later. I would say that you'd probably be okay to have 2-3 drinks maximum. Anything more than that could be pushing it. It also depends on your tolerance to valium AND alcohol. Back when I was drinking (i'm a recovering alcoholic) I would take up to 2mg xanax a day and drink 30 beers (WARNING: DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!). The only reason I didn't die from this is...

There are several doses of Diazepam available, as both the generic and name brand, there are 2mg, 5mg and 10mgs. ## They are apparently 10mg, I just got 2 strips of then, but the question really should be are they counterfeit? Just got some of these. Took the prescribed dose and fell straight asleep during the day. Mind you... What's your input? Usually I'd just be relaxed with the other prescribed brand but these knocked me out for 3 hrs.... Anyone ever seen this brand? Dispensed as a 2mg valium. Cheeers. ## 3 Yellow Diazepam (should be 15mg in total) should NOT knock you out unless you were mixing it with heavy heavy alcohol drinking or lots of other strong downers. I just wanna know what they're like compared to the Valium (diazepam) that I’ve been prescribed for years? ## You should not take them both, together, since that is essentially doubling up on the same medication, because they are both benzodiazepines that are used to treat anxiety, and nervous disorders. The NIH also warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, and irritability. Which one has your doctor advised you to take? Have they suggested that you switch? Are you on any other medications?

Why? There were no markings on the tablets whatsoever. 15 in a pack / 30 in a box. What the hell was it? Can anybody help? ## Proper 10mg tablets are blue all the way through and are coated, not chalky, and are full 10mg. The white ones are normally 2mg and coated; these being from a proper prescription in UK. Only places like India sell the chalky crumbly white 10mg which are weaker and are lower in strength, and don't work as well.
