Where can I find a Dr in my area for chronic back pain? I have dd disease, I have fibromyilgia, also arthritis and othroporosise, and I have a broken back with my 1 n 2 vertebrae is crushed together. I have got to find a Dr in Ring gold VA. 24586 that can please help me. Also I have panic attacks and anxiety attacks. I was on xanax but my Dr retired and my other Dr killed himself. I have had 4 back surgeries, 1 neck surgery, 1 rt knee surgery, and 1 rt shoulder surgery. I've been on many pain meds but now what works for me is 10/325 norco. I dont want anything stronger. I'm sure im addicted but cant function; without them i need that little relief to maintain my sanity. I have been labeled a druggie. I need a pain management doctor in the northern virginia or central virginia area that accepts medicaid and isn't scared to prescribe the necessary medications for chronic pain. ## I'm sorry, but there are no listings of doctors according to what insurance they accept, or what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. All doctors have to be very careful about what they prescribe, due to severe government regulations. If they don't, they could lose their license to practice medicine and most doctors have far too much time and money invested in their careers to be willing to do that. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that could refer you to someone? If so, that would most likely be the easiest way to get the help you need.

Hi, I have had chronic back pain for years and have seen various doctors for the problem. Most have prescribed either tramadol or hydrocodone along with muscles relaxers sometimes. I've also tried a round of steroids (prednisone) as well as non pharmaceutical options like physical therapy, stretching and light exercise when I can tolerate it in an effort to strengthen my core. Most of these treatments have helped to some degree but the pain inevitably returns (and really many of the medications have only slightly dulled the pain but I still have had difficulty getting through the day even when taking them. I have chronic back pain. I underwent surgery in april 2015 which seemed to work until I returned to my previous place of employment. Now i am even more unsure about another surgery and just want to be referred to a good sympathetic pain management doctor. I am a self pay patient with no insurance, so the clinic must accept that. Also, I would rather keep the cost of my monthly appointments at or under $200.00, at least after my first visit. I am 52 I have been in sever lower back pain with pain radiating down my legs for two years now have taken over counter med and seen nurse practioners most doctors will not even seen you now days need any kind help. ice daily and chiropractor made it worst. ## I had the begginings of spinal stenosis and arthritis in the sacroiliac area. I have been in pain for over 12 years now and have lower/mid back pain*rotator cuff/tendon/arthritis in both l/r shoulder whit a serious bone spur in my right shoulder*migraine headaches*menicus tare in my left hip*and a menicus tare in my left knee with osteo/skeleton arthritis. There has to be some serious reason for that to have occurred and, depending on the reason(s), it could create some problems for you in pursuing treatment. For example, if they felt that the doctor was over prescribing, or prescribing controlled substances inappropriately, you may find yourself needing to undergo a lot of medical reviews from one or more other doctors, before someone will prescribe anything for you. I'm moving to Vassar, Michigan in a few months and I'm looking for many types of doctors. Bay City, Saginaw, Michigan are some of the bigger city near to Vassar which is a very small city with hardly any doctors. I need a PCP, pain management, ENT, gastroenterologists, neurologist, urologist, nephrologist, hepatologist, cardiologist, and pulmonologist. My doctor has left Arkansas and I need to find a doctor that is willing to help me with my pain meds. He was giving me Oxycodone due to headache I have from strokes I have had, but I can't seem to find me a doctor. I have a lot of other medications I am taking due to the illness I have had since then, I am looking for a Primary Doctor that can take care of the major problems and if I only get sick. Need to find a VA doctor at one of the clinics in Huntsville,al. Who prescribe pain meds for RA. I have a valid pain issue and my doctor took me off hydrocodone 10/325. Those helped me get out of bed without groaning and acheing for 20 min before i can get up. Now i am in pain and my doctor just wants to give me ultram. This med in no way helps.
