2 Replies RSS
I have have been taking percocet for pain of 2 rods in my back and a 357 mag gunshot wound to my thigh which shattered my femur. I was taking 70mg of oxcodone a day for pain but now my new pain management doctor put me on 30mg of MS Contin 2x a day plus 5/325 percocet 3x a day if needed for break thru pain.My question is will this be as effective or not and why? Thank You for any responses! ## I have been prescribed both a combination of Oxycontin & percocet (for break through pain) and 30mg MS Contin (also with Percocet for break through pain)...I personally think that the Oxycontin works better...but I do know a few people who think that the MS Contin (which I am sure you know is Morphine Sulfate) works better for them...Sorry I could not be more helpful, but I truly believe it de... ...

does Coveram 10 cause cold legs?
1 Reply RSS
I have been taking Coveram 10 for about 2 years and other blood pressure medication for about 7 years before that. I suffer from cold legs and the problem has been getting steadily worse so that they are cold even in 35 degree heat, and even when my feet get warm. I have been told by my TCM practitioner that my kidney energy is extremely low. Is there a connection with the kidney energy and blood pressure medication? I also have muscle cramps in my legs and feet. ## Hello, Duffiana! How are you? Yes, the medication could be causing Reynaud's syndrome, I've had it happen to me before with a couple that I tried, as well. Have you consulted your doctor? You'll likely need to switch to a different high blood pressure medication. As to the TCM and kidney energy, I am sorry, but I... ...

Med Dr,as I know she will refuse. I'm hoping someone will recomend a place near by that will not only perscibe, but will in El Sobrante, Ca. Thanks. ## *20lbs ## I think the biggest issue you may run into here is that the Phendimetrazine is meant to only be used for a short period of time, along with proper diet and exercise. Dose soma 2410 V have codine in it??
2 Replies RSS
I know some somas do wanna figure out if this one dose. 350mg ## K.. I TAKE HYDROCODONE.... WAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEM HYDROW AND SOMAS ## I think some misunderstandings need to be cleared up in regards to this post. The medication just called Soma, or its generics Carisoprodol do not contain Codeine, or any other narcotic. Carisoprodol is the only active ingredient in them. Thus, though it is a muscle relaxant that can help with muscle spasms that cause pain, it will not help with other types of pain, such as nerve pain or surgical pain as a narcotic would. It is solely used for muscle pain and spasms. And the tablet originally asked about here, with the 2410 V marking contains only 350mgs of Carisoprodol, so it is a generic for Soma that contains no narcotics whatsoever. You can di... ...

Nevanac Rebate Misrepresented

Dr prescribed Nevanac for post cataract operation. Was given the mail in rebate form, which I submitted for the two bottle which I purchased through Walgreens at $75 each. Submitted both receipts with the mail in rebate form and received reimbursement on only one bottle $75 less $40 patient responsibility- received a ck for $35, Have tried calling the rebate # but no live person available to talk to. looks like lots of individuals were treated in the same manner Their agreement on the rebate form is "you will received a rebate check worth your out of pocket cost that exceeds $40" Offer valid for up to 4 bottles. by my calculations I should have a check for $110 NOT $35 Any advice as to how to claim what is rightfully mine from this manufacturer? ...

hi, am in my 35th week of my pregnancy and the amniotic fluid level from my scan report on 34th week was measured as 7.9, sunsequently my doctor had suggested to take a drip of Inj. Astymin M or Inj. Benazepril conversion to Lisinopril
2 Replies RSS
I have been taking Benazepril 10 mg for a while, and my doctor has changed me to Lisinopril but the new dosage is 40 mg, is this dosage comparable to the Benazepril or is this an increase in dosage? ## From what I can tell, it's a slight increase and the equivalent dosage would be around 25 to 35mgs, however, the switching of the medications also has to be taken under consideration. When you stop one of these abruptly and switch to another one, even one that's still in the same class, as was done here, there can be redound effects to your blood pressure, making it climb higher, so your doctor may have increased the dosage slightly to try to help control this. These are both ACE Inhibitors, so the side effects should be similar and may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and dr... ...
