my dog is on Purbac for a skin infection, can i give him Petscam at the same time? ## @Phillip, I haven't come across any medications under the name "Petscam". The name is just so broad that my results are even bringing up pet owners who've previously been scammed. Lol! Would you happen to have the packaging in hand to help determine which ingredients are in Petscam? Also, Purbac (Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim) is a very powerful antibiotic that carries many side effects. So I would also recommend talking to your vet about this before making the final decision on whether or not you should combine it with another medication. can you take Nitrofur Macr 100 Mg & Z Pac together. I have two pills of the Nitrofur left for a bladder infection. I got prescribed a z pac for a horrible cold & sore throat can I take the two antibiotics together? ## Hi Karen, Based on my research, no known interactions exist between Nitrofur Macro (Nitrofurantoin) and Z pack; also known as Zithromax (Azithromycin). However, this does not necessarily mean no interactions exist. Found some pills in my sons bag (P500 oblong pill). I asked what it is and he says oxycodone 10/325, but I can not find it anywhere. Is it what he thinks it is? ## No, it is not. This tablet is manufactured by Pack Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Ciprofloxacin, which is an antibiotic. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. He prescribed methylprednisolone 4mg Can I take mucinex to help ? ## I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between the two, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure.
