From India.....is it a true hydrocodone? Has anyone actually tried this medication from VAX labs in a bubble pack? ## Hi Sally, If it's not dispensed by a legitimate licensed pharmacy, the only safe way to determine whether it's real or not would be to have the tablet analyzed by a lab or drug panel. Based on my own investigation, I cannot find any reason to believe that VAX labs or VAX Pharmaceuticals is a legitimate company. They have no website, no reviews and don't even appear to be a real firm from India. So personally, I would discard them. Obtaining meds like this over the internet is like gambling with your health and money. ## I just received 30 of these and took 1/2 of one and with no effect, I don't even think it is acetaminophen or hydrocodone!

Can you tell me if this drug is legitimate? it is packaged as V C Don, mfd. in India by a Vax pharmaceuticals. Supposed to be hydrocodone and aceteminophen, 10/625. it is an oblong, tan colored pill and comes in blister packs. ## Hello, Ramette! How are you? As to this medication, I have to say that your guess is as good as anyone else's. When it comes to unmarked tablets ordered from a foreign, non-FDA approved source, the only way to be certain of what you've received would be to pay to have it analyzed. It may be their version of Vicodin, it could be a placebo, or it could be something else entirely. Learn more Vicodin details here. Does anyone know what a good replacement for vicodone since they took it off the market? My dr. put me on norco 7.5-325. These are a joke. I have to take 2-3 tabs when I was taking 1 tab.I am really screwed since I am allergic to codene, morphene, and most things that get me out of pain. I am on fentenal patch, but this replacement doesn;t make any sence. If I have to take 3 times the dosage I'm taking 3 times the acetaminophen. I was on percocet but now my insurance charges 3x the amount it used to cost, so thats not affordable. Any suggestions? Thanks ## Vicodin is still on the market, it an Norco actually contain the same active ingredients, Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. Learn more Vicodin details here. I went to the Emergency Room last Saturday on 12/122015. I could not take the pain. I got 2 Vicodin at the Emergency Room. The doctor sent me home with 2 prescriptions. The Prescriptions were for Oxycodone. I had a reaction to it. I think they were Percocet. I became very itchy. I called the ER and told a nurse what happened. She told me to come back. I was too tired and never went back. Now it is Christmas and I wish that I did go back. Is Oxycodone the same as Percocet? I think that I had a bad reaction to Percocet about 10+ years ago. My old PCP told me to say that I was allergic to it. ## Hello, Janet! How are you? I'm so sorry about the problems you've experienced. Yes, they are the same. Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone as its active ingredients. The FDA class...

My wife is taking Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen SOL APAP at 2 tsps every 4 hours. Is Vicodin 5/500 the equivalent to this and can she take the Vicodin instead? She just had the Gastric Bypass almost a week ago. ## Vicodin does contain the same active ingredients (Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen), so it all depends on what dosage she is currently taking. Another thing to consider is that there may be a reason why she was prescribed this medication in a syrup form instead of a tablet, especially that she had surgery related to the digistive system. Ultimately it would be advisable to check with her doctor before making any switches like that, especially with such a potent medication. Wishing her a speedy recovery! Please reply with any other details or questions which you can think of... ## My ...

After breaking my back and neck in 1983 and ending up with bone fragments embedded in my spine , I had to have emergency surgery to repair 3 ruptured discs and to remove the bone fragments , I lost my job , house and car and pretty much everything else ! at first I was given mild painkillers that did absolutely nothing for me , I ended up being bedridden for almost 8 years , Lying in bed with pillows under my knees when I could lay on my back bust mostly lying on my side with pillows between my legs ! Then I was referred to a pain management clinic with a Dr. i felt i could trust , He kept wanting to do a new surgery that required running a laser up my epidural canal to remove a bunch of built up scar tissue which I was scared to try since my 1st surgery really sucked , He ended up putt...

I'm on oxycodone and ativan, but the ativan doesn't work with my anxiety. I had back surgery and I had cement put in. I broke 3 vertebrates. Is it safe to ask my doctor to put me on the valium with the oxycodone? When I was in the hospital that's what they were giving me. Even when I left, the valium seemed to help more with relaxing my back and dealing with panic disorder and my anxiety. But my question is, are those two safe to take together? ## Valium is also a benzodiazepine, just like the Ativan, so it will work very similarly for most people. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. Hi I am prescribed vicodin 5/500 120x/month for my arthritis I have a question, I wanted something with less acepthemanophen and was prescribed vicodin 5/325, I went to the pharmacy and they said there was no such thing, so I told my doctor and he prescribed me vicodin 5/300 , they are EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. My question is how come the pharmacy said there is no such thing as vicodin 5/325 , and also is there a generic version of 5/300 ? Is it because on the script my doctor writes "vicodin" and not hydrocodone ? Please help me I can't spend too much money on my medication ## I am not sure why your pharmacy said that, there is a 5/325 dosage, the brand name for it would be Endocet. I pulled my back out two weeks ago. My doctor gave me a shot of decadron (steroid) and Valium. I only took 2.5 mg of Valium twice (I don't like taking things I'm unsure of) and it didn't get better all. If I took the last 2.5 mg 12 hours ago is it safe to take 5 mg of hydrocodone? It doesn't appear to interact with my steroid shot but wanted to be sure. ## Hello, IndianaGuy! How are you? I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between the Decadron and Norco, but you should always double check such information with your doctor or pharmacist. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I take Hydrocodone and am now prescribed Viberzi. I am curious if they increase each others' effects or cancel them out? ## Hello, Jess 1! How are you? Actually, they increase the efficacy of each other. Thus, your doctor should be monitoring you regularly and they should have taken your dosage under careful consideration to avoid any potential problems. The FDA lists the most common side effects of Viberzi as possibly including nausea, constipation, and abdominal pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been on viibryd for a week and have been having awful headaches. I am wondering if it is safe to take a leftover hydrocone from a dental procedure. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? I'm sorry about the headaches. I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between these medications, but it's always best to double check with your doctor to be sure. Viibryd has been known to cause migraines, in some people that take it, according to the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dry mouth, weight changes, palpitations, decreased libido and night sweats. However, they should taper off, after a few weeks, when your body gets used to the medication. If not, you should speak to your doctor as it may not be the right medication for you. I've been taking a 10 /325 norco with big V on one side and v3601 on other darker yellow. i sitched to watson 853 10/325. the watsons don't seem to work. does it take time to get used to new pill or something . please help. ## There can be differences in generic drugs, the FDA does allow them to differ, from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient(s) by as much as plus or minus 20%. Problems can arise, however, because they are only required to measure against the name brand, not against each other, therefore, when you switch from one generic to another, you may find that one doesn't work as well, because you may not be getting as much of the medication as you were in the prior one. In some cases, they may even be stronger, which could cause problems for some ...

twice now I have noticed this with my vintage yellow 10/325 norcos.... some of the time the V on the other side is facing upwards, and on some of the other pills it is facing downwards. Why is this? if they have pill presses made one way then why are some pills with the V up and some with the V down. both times I noticed this because it seemed to me the pills were not working at all and they taste sweet. this happened to my script 8 months ago and now they are not working again and I checked and again the V is upside down. if you face the 3601 rightside up, and turn the pill over, some of them have the V up and some of them have the V down, how can they get turned around in a pill press by the manufacturer and end up upside down? I just find it very odd when they do not seem to work, I ...
