This pill is round and peach colored, with the number 229 on one side and an imprint on the side not, a C, M, G, difficult to discribe in words. Your help would be greatly appreciated. ## Hello, Abby! How are you? I know exactly the logo you're talking about. This tablet is manufactured by Alvogen and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I'm sorry but I believe the gentleman is incorrect about what the pill is that has 229 on one side. If the imprint on other side could be sz or zs. Then this is a gen...

All the meds I've gotten in the past...7.5/325 always meant 7.5 oxycodne (h) and the 3.25 meant the acetamenophen..why is it, that this paticular medicine or company explains it opposite...at first glance my thoughts wre 3.25 of oxycone (h) and 7.5 acetamenophen.... which is very confusing. Without research from this site I would of thought, I was taking the wrong medicine ..my question is: Why is it explained this way? Thank you in advance ## Hello, Confused! How are you? I'm sorry that this confused you. But, there is no one particular way that it has to be printed, your pharmacy just switched it around this time. The label and paperwork your pharmacy gives you is what they print for you, that's not actually provided by the manufacturer. Under FDA law, they just have to li...

Looks like a C with a fancy V in the middle of the C logo on one side and the numbers 229 on the other. The color is peach or light orange. ## I do believe the tablet you have is marked marked with one of Alvogen's logos and they list it as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 7.5mgs of Oxycodone, it is a generic for Percocet. (NDC 47781-229) Inactive Ingredients may include: - Corn Starch - Povidone - Lactose Monohydrate - Crospovidone - Stearic Acid - FD&C Yellow No. 6 The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ## Hello. Not sure what this pill is. Found it in my driveway! Can someone please tell me what kind of pill this is? It peach or pink (not sur...

There's been some confusion in the forums where people think this could be an Oxycodone tablet. This is actually a generic Ambien CR 12.5 (Zolpidem), NOT an oxycodone. I have it actually in my hand with the bottle. NDC Code 0781-5316. Inactive Ingredients: - Silicon Dioxide - Hydroxypropyl Cellulose - Hypromelloses - Lactose Monohydrate - Magnesium Stearate - Polyethylene Glycols - Ferric Oxide Red - Talc - Titanium Dioxide ## Hello S, You're absolutely right. The pill imprinted with 229 and SZ is listed by the NIH as a Zolpidem tartrate pill. I just wanted to clean up the post a little so the information you provided was a bit easier to read and I added a little information as well. NDC: 0781-5316 Name: Zolpidem tartrate Imprint: SZ;229 Ingredients: Zolpidem Tartrate 12.5 Mg La...

I found a peach pill with imprint 229 on one side. Is it oxycodone? ## Hi mary, Based on the description provided, I found your pill to be Acetaminophen (325mg) + Oxycodone hydrochloride (7.5 mg). The blend tablet is a narcotic pain reliever used to treat moderate to severe acute (short-term) pain. NOTE: This pill is actually noted to be orange colored as opposed to peach. One side has the numbers "229" and the other side has what looks like a "logo" of the letter "C" or "A" written in calligraphy. The manufacturer is Alvogen, Inc. (NDC 47781-229) I hope this helps! ## I just wanted to say thank you for the explanation. I looked everywhere online because I didn't recognize this pill. I had back surgery and am paranoid I'm going to get the wrong me...

Is there a difference in (Percocet or Vicodin) peach 229 and yellow 4827? ## Hello, Karol! How are you? To clarify and avoid confusion for others that may read this post, I'd like to note that Percocet and Vicodin aren't the same thing. Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, while Vicodin contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. The FDA lists these medications as being narcotic analgesics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. That said, the two pills that you've listed both contain 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, but they've been manufactured by different companies. The one with the 229 marking is made by Alvogen Inc. and the one with the 4827 ...
