Do you have any hospitals in your area that has outpatient pharmacies? This is your best bet. My 1yr old son has been prescribed Ofloxacin suspension for watery Diarrhoea that he has been suffering from for the last 4 days. Ofloxacin has been banned in the US for its "reversible & irreversible injury to the musculoskelital system in children" as one website said.What do I do? Is it of any use in diarrhoea? If your child has an infection and the doctor has prescribed this, it is best to give it to them, as instructed. Letting an infection continue untreated may be life threatening.
